Doesn't matter, but men are funnier.

Actually, the better question would be, "Who is smarter; The Jews or 5th Century Greeks." In which period, BC or AD? Because the Byzantine Greeks were pretty spot on, unless you don't think that the advents of flamethrowers, trebuchets and grenades are smart.

I don't think either is smarter but I voted for men because I am a man and it wouldn't be very smart to vote for the other. I'm a man and I voted for women

The Byzantines were great engineers and Historians, but were the custodians of antiquity, not the creators. Basically, Classical Greece, in one or two generations and a population of a few hundred thousand, produced some of the finest minds humanity has ever known. On the other hand, the Jews, a small minority, a rounding error in the grander scheme of things, have also produced some of the finest and most influential minds of both modern and ancient times, in all fields. So, that would be the more interesting debate.

Girls go to Mars to get more candy bars. Boys go to Venus to get more penis. Candy bars > Penis. Girls are smarter. My penis > candy bars. My penis = candy bar (Milky Way)

It depends on the individual person.
This shouldn't even be a conversation.

I agree with the it's purely subjective crowd.
I know some very smart men and women, but the one thing that trips up a lot of people is thinking experience automatically equals intelligence when it doesn't. I feel it's in the levels of comprehension.
Women and men tend to have a different senses of success and freedom when it comes to how it defines them.
There are certain things that men don't have to worry about that women do and vice versa. Some of these things are what we choose to worry about rather than these things baring any real importance.
Those differences can scew the perception of what makes you intelligent. The question is who's perception is scewed the easiest.
Now I can say men are smarter since i just went through a few situations where a women who swears she knows everything refused to listen to a guy (me) about something where experience doesn't equal intelliegence or determine compatability.
But like I said, it's subjective and situational.

1. Formal education has nothing to do with intelligence. 2. This poll is silly

Where's the "Neither" option?
Animals are smarter than either gender.

Just remembered something...
Didn't they do a big test where the men had an average IQ of 117 and the women had an average IQ of 115?

It's a useless comparison. Studies have shown that women and men think with different parts of their brains, and generally that men think more linearly than women, and women think more abstractly than men. However, I will defer to Jeff Foxworthy when he said "you ever see a woman with less than 10 fingers?"

However, I will defer to Jeff Foxworthy when he said "you ever see a woman with less than 10 fingers?" Yes I have. A professor of mine only had 8 fingers. Granted, I think she was born that way. As for the poll, I voted "women," mainly because I think this poll is stupid and neither gender is inherently more intelligent than the other. So I'm contributing towards evening it up. As for why men do better career-wise, a lot of that more than likely has to do with male privilege, which also contributes towards men making more money than women for the same exact jobs. But that's a whole other can of worms.
