Does anyone out there like this show? It's probably my favourite new show of the season, but pretty much everything I read about it online is people talking crap about it, mostly just because of the premise.
I think it's hilarious and the characters are very well rounded and funny. I've even managed to turn a few people onto it, and I figured more people would like it if they just gave it a chance.
Any of you Crappers watch it, or am I alone one this one?

None of the commercials for it ever appealed to me or made it look like anything more than Parks and Recs-India.
And yeah, a shit premise for a show in this day and age.

It's much closer to an Indian version of The Office. Either way it is a hilarious show.

I watched the first episode, thought it was horrible and never bothered to watch it again.

It's okay. Not as hilarious as the show it bumped to midseason, Parks And Recreation. But, I do like that the cast is mostly non-white. This is probably the only time you'll see Indian actors in a main cast of a TV show for a good while.

The show made my penis burn.
The movie, though, is actually really well done and enjoyable.

Oh come on. Indians are like, what, 1% of the population? Both Mindy Kaling and Aziz Ansari have roles on Office and P&R, and then there's this show. Indians are among the most overrepresented group on television, but that's only because it doesn't take much.
It's kind of like those shows in 1997 that NBC used to air, you know, like Boston Commons, or gosh, Caroline in the City, that have no appeal on their own, but watching them is easier than changing the channel.

Honestly, not wanting to change the channel is one of the main reasons I watch Outsourced.

I've seen a few episodes but, honestly, I don't know if it was confirmation bias or it was legitimate apathy, I just didn't really care much one way or the other.

I saw the first episode. It went something like this.
"Hey, I'm an American! Oh no, my job has been to moved to India! WHOOOOAAAHHH, everything in India is soooooo weird and different! It's wacky!"
Needless to say, I haven't had much need to see a second episode. If it's changed, good for it.

Dreading the day Community gets cancelled in favor of giving this show more episodes.

The actual premise isn't that bad. There's always humor to be mined from the classic "fish out of water" scenario...
..except this show, from what I've seen, somehow got the premise backwards. The AMERICAN is the fish out of water, not the ENTIRE COUNTRY OF INDIA.

Oh, and the "Bad News Bears" scene? I hated it. Whenever I watch Community OnDemand, I tend to see that clip in the Outsourced commercials. HATE.

I watched the first episode, thought it was horrible and never bothered to watch it again. It got much better after the first couple of episodes. Much much better.

Fourth... It just reaffirmed my belief Hollywood has no idea what the hell it's doing.
