This is why I only buy PC games from Steam. No discs, and everything is saved in the Steam cloud. My one experience with Steam has pretty much guaranteed I'll never buy anything affiliated with it again. I loved the original Mafia, so I shelled out $50 for Mafia 2 when it was released because I REALLY wanted to play it. I have never played it. I popped the disc in, installed everything...then I had to update Steam. I just installed it, but I had to update it. It took me several days to get that to work, but I finally got it. Then I found out that the disc didn't install the entire game, and I had to download about 100mb via Steam before I could play the game. This never worked. It would almost never connect, and when it did it would download at an amazingly slow rate. I managed to get about 25% downloaded and had to pause it and shut everything down. When I started it again, it was mysteriously down to only 8 or 9%. Several communications with the Steam support staff yielded no help. Lesson learned for me. I still f***ing hate Steam.

They have practically no hair styles.
Trent's gonna have to have a mullet when I get around to making him.

yeah thats what allows annoyed me about sims 3 they have too few hairstyles for customization... I think EA did it on purpose so they could make you buy them off their online store... but screw that...
Also thats one reason why I just download all of my sims related stuff so I don't have to scramble for the disk when I have my random urge to build and ruin peoples lives:p

I finished my Dudebusters sims. They're all wearings hats to hide the fact that they have short hair.
I gave them ridiculous personality traits and they aspire to be superstar athletes.
THIS IS GONNA BE FUN.

I need to know their exact personalities. And have pictures.
I may like Sims 2 more but I still need to see this.
In fact, just keep updating this thread.

The first thing that happened when they moved in was Croft started flirting with Hawkins (...I love this game). Then Croft threw a tantrum because he doesn't like the fact that they own a TV. Then Trent snuck up on Hawkins and scared the crap out of him. Here's their personality traits... Croft: Technophobe Bookworm Childish Athletic Flirty Hawkins: Flirty Daredevil Athletic Mooch Charismatic Barreta: Flirty Excitable Childish Charismatic Athletic ...I made them all flirty on the off chance that I wanted to insert myself into the situation. ... And Trent just smashed his head onto the keyboard. I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH.

I was so evil in this game. My young sim ended up seducing a cougar, then totally abandoning her for a younger woman. He finally went and saw her when she was old and apologized to her, and she slapped him and cried ...
And then died the next day. Her husband called me with the news. But hell, by then I was one hell of a guitar player. Easy to do nothing but work on your skills when you have the cheat code to get money.

Welcome to Mod The Sims! www.modthesims.info/We have much easily installed, free hair! And sideburns! This is my go-to site for custom content for both Sims 2 & 3. I think the only time I ever bought hair and clothes from the official sims 3 site is with the bonus points you get from registering the games.

When I had the original Sims ( I later gave it to my sister, who enjoyed it even more), I used the cheat code for infinite money; built a huge tower for a house, and had the top floor entirely filled with robots who my Sim guy would activate every morning to do his bidding.
I was that neighborhood's Dr. Doom

Pictures of that household Citten? Just curious how they look.
When I played Sims 1, I was really into customizing characters, but I play Sims 3 mainly for World Adventures. Love the game, it eats time like crazy though.

Guys, Sims 3 is like $20.00 bucks at Amazon. That's like, cheap. Especially for the Sims. My guess is, EA realized that if you sell the original game at a low price, you can make money on Expansions. Makes sense. Frankly, I'm waiting for Medieval, which looks like the coolest game ever, even if the Magic Based Spin-off always falls flat (Age of Mythology, Lords of Magic.) I liked them. And a Vampire expansion makes sense. They did do a Harry Potter expansion pack. It had a bear in it. The lastest expansion pack for Sims 3, Late Night, allows you to have vampires. I seriously only just want that expansion pack
