What's a good inexpensive lotion? Weird questions I know. The thing is I take very long hot showers every day, and it's always dried out my skin. But it's been getting a bit worse lately, even though I've done a good job of cutting down my shower time, maybe I'm getting old. Anyway my face and hands have started to hurt a small bit lately and I can only imagine it's from that. I need a lotion that hopefully doesn't feel too greasy or wash off all that easily. I can't stand the feeling of grease or dirt so I usually wash my hands upwards of twelve times a day. So a greasy lotion will drive me absolutely crazy. I'm a pretty low maintenance dude and I just don't know what to look at as far as these things go.

When my hands get dry, I use Curel on the backs, but like you I don't like greasy hands so I usually put it on with a Q-tip so it doesn't get on my palms and fingers. I just got done doing that actually I bought a bottle of Curel after I got my first tattoo because the artist recommended it as a good brand to put on tattoos, and since I use hand lotion so sparsely the small bottle I bought back then has lasted me several years. It seems to work well enough. I'm not sure what would work as a face lotion, but I imagine that having dry skin on the face may be the result of shaving? You could try an aftershave. I'm not well versed in the subject of face shaving, so I can't help there :B

I love Jergens cherry-almond lotion.
I think it was at Ross but I got a decent sized contaner of coconut-lime lotion.
Good stuff

I have to use lotion on my daughter's and my own hands because they hurt and get red. I recommend anything with oatmeal or colloidal oatmeal. It gets rid of any dry skin we have. Right now we are using Equate (walmart brand) with colloidal oatmeal. We just got done using the same thing in Aveeno (always a good brand). Try to avoid anything with added scents until your hands and face heal up or it may make it worse. Feel better!

That's what I use. After I apply it, I just wash my hands and it gets rid of the greasy feeling but still leaves my hands feeling soft.
