I saw this game on a Gamestop shelf a while back. I'm good buddies with one of the managers there, who has always been straightforward with me about games and their quality, (hell, there's been some he outright wouldn't let me buy due to suckness <_<) but I spied the T-Rex emblazoned box and pondered aloud "Jurassic: The Hunted. Y'know, it seems absurd I'd even ask, but is this game any good?" and he was like "Honestly...it's not that bad." Sooo, I checked it out, the price was right. What'd I have to lose. The game is average, don't expect mindblowing weapons models or terrains, but the array of weaponry at your disposal and the fact that the dinos look GREAT (and the minigame where they get "too close" to you is a clever way of intensifying the experience), and y'know, if you make a game about shooting dinosaurs in the face, I WILL PLAY IT. So yeah, if you saw it and went "wtf...whatever", give it a shot. It's kinda amusing! ...I should probably try the new Turok

Looks fun enough. Firing a rocket launcher at a Brachiosaurus must be a fetish for some.

Weirdly enough, I watched the Quick Look of this one over on GiantBomb today (before seeeing this topic).
Looked interesting enough, even if the crew didn't give it much credit.

I mean yeah man, don't get me wrong, it's not gonna be...orgasmic, but if you like dinosaurs, and shooting dinosaurs with guns, this is your game because not many others seem to like...make games about shooting dinosaurs with guns.

This is the last good dinosaur shoot 'em up I remember. Man oh man, do I miss arcades.
