Popping kids out does not make her or Octomom stars. Queen of the Harpies maybe but not a star.

In fairness, that show for about a year or two was really popular.
She's on about 14:59.37 of her alloted time though.

I remember the whole concept of that show offending me, just the notion of people going crazy on fertility drugs to have a bunch of kids, then, SURPRISE!, life gets tough.
Doesn't make her husband cheating on her right, but given how they showed her berating him all the time, kind of got tougher to blame him.

That's what was so bad about it to me: both of the parents were colossal assholes, that much cannot be denied (I'd like to call Kate something that rhymes with "punt" but this is civil company so I'll leave it at that) but the kids being put into that spotlight, with no sort of sayso, just so the parents could exploit a freak accident of nature for their own financial gain....that's what pissed me off. And now you've got stories coming out about how the older kids are turning out to be impossible-to-deal-with monsters....and all I can say is, "they're their mother's children, all right".

I think this is closer to what Andy Warhol was referring to as opposed to someone with legit worldwide and steady success like Justin Bieber.
I would totally go for her though

Like I said though, it wasn't totally an accident of nature: I've read that fertility drugs, and going overboard on them, had a lot to do with it. I don't begrudge any couple using those to conceive, but it's like they were TRYING to have multiple kids at once.

1. You are posting on a discussion board that was in it's orgins, a place to discuss bad wrestling angles. Everyone has a timewaster.
2. I don't see the problem. Look, the E! Channel has always been the tabloid news network, and True Hollywood Story has always been Tabloid Biography. It's a tribute to infamy, and the events of that show were in the tabloids for several years.

I don't begrudge any couple using those to conceive, but it's like they were TRYING to have multiple kids at once. Were they? I always thought their "official" story was that they were merely trying for kids and didn't INTEND to have that many. Nadya "Octomom" Suleman though, who saw the fame and exposure that having that many kids had brought both John and Kate and the Duggar family, PURPOSELY went out and had a quack doctor implant her with multiple embryos in the sheer DRIVE to birth as many kids as possible and cash in on the "freak birthing of HUGE litters of children" fad. Her plan backfired after she was more or less exposed as nasty bitch who did it all for the money, having that many kids on the government dime while she ALREADY had several that she couldn't care for, one of THOSE being a neglected special needs child. That being said, I hate both of them equally. I mean, there are couples who save for YEARS to try and undergo ONE embryonic implant/IVF treatment, only to have it not work. And Suleman goes back multiple times and greedily (and quite illegally) has MULTIPLE embryos implanted, never once giving a stray thought to the care and attention these babies would need. Literally, her plan must have been an Underwear Gnome Special. Step 1: Have a dozen embryos implanted in womb. Step 2: Step 3: PROFIT!

^Yeah, and there hasn't been a really good one in years.
Now, the real story here is how messed up the lives of those kids are going to be when they reach adulthood.

Yeah, one of the problems with fertility treatments is that they are prone to multiple births, which is why they need to be given under the care of a physican. I think we can all safely grant the moral intent of the Gosselins, it's just the way to destruction is lined with those who made their time. ha ha ha. Or something like that. You have to remember, when their show started, it was a small documentry on Discovery Health. It was long before anyone with exceptional circumstances got a reality TV show on TLC. Besides, we have Octomom and Bubble Dad as how an attention starved crazy person acts.
