I was at the Smackdown house show in Portland Maine tonight and Batista made his comeback. I'm not sure if this was his first match back, but he's not due back on Smackdown for a couple more weeks.
The Undertaker was supposed to be there to battle the Great Khali, but he couldn't make it and as a surprise they had Batista in a tag match with Mysterio against Mark Henry and King Booker. Batista looked a little winded afterward, and Mysterio celebrated with the belt and eventually they played "viva La Raza" and he celebrated to that.
So does anyone know if this was Batistas first match or if he's been on the house show scene for a while.

This is the first match ive heard of him being in, but he may have done one last night.
Thank God they didnt put him in the ring with Khali, he could have been right back on the shelf!

Yeah it was. Unless there was a house show Friday. I recall reading he was coming back to action this weekend.

He's gonna always be winded. He's 40 years old and over 275lbs. He was winded when he was working with Eddie last year.

'Tista is 40? I could have sworn he wasn't older than 32 or 33.
Damn.

If he has asthma, (which I've never heard reports of before...) then he should definitely slim down some.

Good to have Batista back, and that Booker is the main event. Hopefully, the latter is a sign of things to come.
