Do you think this will actually happen this year? Do you think Morrison will win the belt this Wrestlemania? Discuss and thoughts?

Makes a lot of sense. It creates a new face main eventer and plays off their history. You figure Cena will have Barrett, Sheamus will face Triple H, so Miz would logically face Morrison.

No way - it's happening at the Royal Rumble.
I'm thinking Miz / Cena headlines Mania.

I don't know, I expect they'll use the Elimination Chamber to get the title off Miz before 'Mania, even if they want to put it back on him shortly thereafter, like they did with Sheamus. If WWE didn't trust Cena/Edge to be big enough to headline Wrestlemania in '06, I don't think they'll see Cena/Miz being able to do so in '11.

With the announcement of Morrison vs. Sheamus in a number one contender match at TLC, Morrison's shot is definitely coming at the Royal Rumble. He'll obviously be used once again as a tool to put the inferior Miz over.
As for Miz still having the title by WrestleMania, I wouldn't hold my breath. I don't think WWE is stupid enough to think he can draw as Champion at 'Mania.

I see it happening the Rumble too, but I fear then WWE won't have enough confidence in Miz for him to walk into 'Mania as champ. He'll probably drop the title in the Chamber at EC to Triple H who then fights Cena or Orton at 'Mania. I pray I'm wrong.

Honestly, the worst thing I think could happen as the main event of Mania - and I could easily see it happening - would be Triple H returning and winning the Royal Rumble and Sheamus then winning the Elimination Chamber. I liked their Mania match yet if that headlined this year's show I'd save my money and skip it.

I really wish they'd hold off on doing a Miz/Morrison feud. It'd be so much sweeter if they just had occasional interactions, building the tension over time, until they're both legit main eventers. Then save it for the WM that year.
But that's far too much storytelling required for WWE *sigh*

As much as I'd enjoy Big Red in the main event, I don't think they'd be having him put over Morrison right now if Sheamus was intended to be headlining Wrestlemania. For the time being, Sheamus seems to be settling in an Umaga/Kane-like position as a heel on the fringes of the main event, someone for other guys to go over in order to signal their own rises up the card.

I don't think WWE is stupid enough to think he can draw as Champion at 'Mania. I don't see as Miz inferior to Morrison. The reason why Miz is champion and Morrison isn't is because Miz is much better on the mic. He's one of the most over people in the company, and he approves at a rapid rate. He isn't good enough to headline Mania this year, but another year of grooming, and he should be able to next year. I remember when people said that Cena would never be anything or that Batista was just some hoss that would never get over without Evolution's help. Anyways, if the WWE isn't stupid and give Orton the belt back at TLC and let Sheamus win the #1 contender spot, it should be Morrison-Miz at Royal Rumble. Miz will probably beat Morrison in the match before the Rumble and then go on to drop the belt to Cena/Orton at Elimination Chamber. I think we might actually see some sort of 4-Way this year in the main-event with Cena, Orton, Miz, and Barrett. I can't see Orton in a match at Mania that doesn't involve the title, and I don't see what the hell the WWE would do with Barrett/Nexus if it was just Cena/Orton. Same with The Miz.

Are we forgetting that Miz right now has the most main stream appeal (besides cena) of the whole roster right now? I can definitely see him headlining Wrestlemania this year.

If Miz/Morrison happens at Wrestlemania, it better be a ladder match with tons of buildup. Including perhaps A-Ri taking out Morrison at the inevitable Elimination Chamber match.

I don't think the WWE is having Miz do this big media tour as the WWE champion to be a transitional champion and hand off the belt just before Mania. Miz/Cena would probably be the best bet to draw the mainstream viewers.

Then save it for the WM that year. But that's far too much storytelling required for WWE *sigh* How long do you intend to keep Morrison on the knife edge though? He's as over now as he ever has been so why not pull the trigger and test a main event fued at a PPV where WWE can get away with it? If nothing else, we'll finally be able to see if Morrison can run in the main event picture or if he's out of depth. As for Miz's reign, I'd hope he keeps worming his way through defences and holds it until Wrestlemania. There'd be a lot of money to be made if WWE could get the fans to want to pay to see Cena/Undertaker/Triple H take the belt off him. Heck, going off some anti-Miz fans at this moment, some of them seem gladly willing to pay to watch Miz get his backside handed to him.

The people who are still holding on to their dream that Miz is a short-term or transitional champion are hilarious. He'll have the belt until at least Wrestlemania. Settle in folks. ![](http://lc.fdots.com/cc/lc/2f/2f6c1ff0a645ebd476c2917d97fb5861.jpg)

I think its happening. I dont think it is the main event. Im hoping Cena vs Barrett in a steel cage or whatever The Undertaker is doing goes as the main event. I hope they do get to each other at Mania though.

I don't get the argument that The Miz isn't enough of a draw to headline WWE. he is one of the most over heels who is fresh with his first WWE title reign and people want to see him lose that belt badly. It's like how people were excited for Wrestlemania 21 because we knew that JBL was going to lose the belt to a fresh challenger who is breaking out the glass ceiling.

Miz is definitely at that level.
Morrison though? I don't think so just yet.

Miz/Cena should be the money program this Mania. There is so much history built in there.
I don't see Morrison at that level yet. In fact I'd be SHOCKED if he even gets close.
