other hand, i have been predicting that miz would retain the belt against triple h at wm27 before losing it to daniel bryan at extreme rules.

On another note, has anyone else ever avoided Orton's hanging DDT? In the very simple manner that Miz did, no less?
Also, how about putting the video of Miz winning in the first post?

I don't like The Miz, but I've heard some people say that he is the worst World Champion ever.
Um...
REY MYSTERIO is and always will be the worst World Champion ever. Nothing worse than having the strap on a guy who wouldn't win a real fight against the kid in the front row.

But at the end of the day he's a freaking giant. Mysterio can not be taken seriously under any circumstances. Some people are just too damn small. Like I said, I don't know if he could beat up 12 year old Cenatic in the front row if it was a real fight.

Well, at least unlike with Sheamus, nobody is saying he's too white. Which was odd, because you'd never hear anyone say they can't buy into a wrestler for being too black. But I digress.

I just realized this was the first MITB cash in not involving Edge.

To add to the worst champion ever discussion - I still maintain that, as much as I love the guy, CM Punk is the worst one of all time. He's had three reigns all of a decent (not good, mind you) length all devoted solely to him getting his ass kicked on a weekly basis.

I went to an Indiana Pacers game tonight. At the start of the 4th Quarter they played Miz's theme song. I marked the f*** out!

If it counts, after Kane cashed in they immediately cut to Edge watching it.

Here is what Kevin Nash said about Miz as the champ: - Kevin Nash had the following to say about Miz' shock title win yesterday on RAW: "WWE told the world that there s*** is a work with the Miz as champ" source: www.impactwrestling.com/Content.aspx?ID=34808Right. Now Kevin, just because UMAD doesn't give you an excuse to throw proper grammer out of the window. It's "their" Kevin. "their".

Like just photoshop out A-Ri and stick Edge there instead. Edge was actually challenging for the WWE Championship, until he pulled the referee out of the ring and gave himself an F-U. He then let Orton pin him before running off through the crowd, being chased by Nexus and chasing after Nexus.

After letting this marinate for awhile I think I can more clearly state my opinions on this:
I don't think I'll hate this title run, it's something different which is good, As I've stated many times if anything will ruin it , It will be the Cole overdose (Think JR during the Austin level times 100+ forcing it into every other match).
I think whats really to blame is WWE's booking of the Title scene for the last couple of years, it's been a revolving door of the same 6 people and with the exception of Rey Rey They all look virtually identical.
So seeing someone like the miz hold it seems vastly different, That being said The miz for me is a mostly colorless upper mid card heel who has copy&paste promo ability and a decent heel reaction but not really quite there yet.

Dunno if this has been mentioned yet but it just dawned on me now. Creatively, this was perfect timing for Miz to cash in because next month's PPV is the TLC event. So you know they're going to further legitimize Miz as a world champ by having him main event in that in a mega TLC match and retain the belt.
And all I'll be thinking is "please don't get injured please don't get injured please don't get injured."

If anything, at least it's drawing attention. His title win is on the front page of MSN News today! ;D
I'm fairly optimistic about this. He's definitely over, and more Miz shirts and signs are appearing each week. I just hope they don't give him a Mysterio reign where he gets his ass kicked every other week!
