Why using the ropes for leverage is illegal. Sure it's harder to kick out but just roll towards the ropes and they'll fall down, that kind of makes it even easier for the guy being pinned.

Back in the late 80s, early 90s, I always wondered why, if the IC champ was the #1 contender for the heavyweight title (as Gorilla reminded us on a regular basis), then why was the Warrior the only one to get a title shot (at least on TV)?

These days.....how can two guys, randomly thrown together and having never wrestled before, suddenly become #1 contenders for the tag team belts? (Again, I'm talking kayfabe)

Do they have contingency plans (both short and long term) if the scripted winner of the Royal Rumble accidentally gets eliminated?

For wrestlers who are supposed to be from "parts unknown" or don't speak english, or they "just don't know anything about him", who do they write the paycheck out to? Where do they mail his tax forms? How did they find him in the first place? How do they negotiate his contract, tell him where to go to wrestle, etc? (Kamala would be a prime example of this. George Steele also fits. So does Warrior)

I've always asked myself this. It just seems too easy to accidentally slip out. Especially since there's always drama added where the guy is in so many precarious positions.

I always assumed the clause was on the contract for the match, not the Superstar's contract.

Which brings up another point: why doesn't anyone ever use the rematch clause like Money in the Bank -- if they have it by contract, shouldn't they get to pick when and where? Couldn't the deposed champ just keep it in his back pocket and spring it when the current champ is vulnerable?

And another thing, if the Royal Rumble winner is guaranteed the main event at WM, shouldn't his match always be last? Since when is third-from-last the main event?

Billy Kidman's heel turn in 2004.

So Kidman accidentally concusses Chavo Guerrero (for real) at the end of a match with the Shooting Star Press and, as a result, starts questioning whether he should use the move whenever he gets in a position to do as. This cost he and Paul London several matches, and eventually the WWE Tag Team titles, as Kidman would abandon matches to go and mope backstage.

Kidman refuses to explain what's going on, even during an in-ring interview segment with Josh Mathews, and is generally a bit of an emo douchebag.

At No Mercy 2004, Kidman defeats Paul London in a grudge match where he'd be fired if he refused to compete. He wins with the Shooting Star Press but appears to injure Paul London in doing so - as EMTs stretcher him out. Kidman taunts the fans, saying they forced him to do it, then hits another SSP on the stretcher-bound Paul London.

So ... how does that heel turn make sense?

Kidman injures someone in a match with his finisher, so he starts having anxiety issues and can't hit the move. Eventually, this costs his team the tag titles after he walks out on a match - due to psychological issues.

When he's eventually forced to hit the move, he suddenly turns full-blown heel, turns on the fans and attacks a stretcher-bound man he already injured.

I never understood where that came from.

I guess that the guy who'd been torturing himself for weeks out of fear of hurting someone, suddenly realised he liked hurting people ... or something.
