I know I'm a grinch, but ignorant marks annoy me. They bug the crap out of me with their theories about why Nexus need to be fired. I'm just the opposite. Overly smarky fans annoy me. I'd rather be around the "ignorant marks" actually enjoying the show then the over the top smarks with their theories about how backstage politics are ruining everything. Perhaps I should clarify. I appreciate being around fans who enjoy the show for what it is, but understand it's just a show, and not 100% real. Obviously I don't include children in this. I guess I'm a middle-ground kinda guy, as the people who scream "OMG! BURIAL! WORKRATE! POLITICS!" constantly annoy me as well.

Basically anyone who's trying to draw attention AWAY from the match. So you're saying Jerry Lawler?

I got another one. The guy with the sign that says "THE GUY BEHIND ME CAN'T SEE"
That wasn't funny 15 years ago when people started doing it, and it's certainly not funny or clever now. You're just an ass.
Also, Guy at WWE show who keeps talking about how much better TNA/ROH/DGUSA/Whatever is. If you think WWE sucks that much, then why are you here?
And yes, guy who is belligerent drunk and curses frequently despite there being many children around.

During the CM Punk/Rey Mysterio match at Armageddon 2008.
As soon as they locked up a moron in the audience started chanting really loudly "this is pointless" as soon as they locked up.
That guy.

I met plenty of people in house shows who are..."interesting" to say the least. Once, two fans legitimately fought because one guy predicted Diesel would retain the title and the other thought Sid would win.
On that night, Diesel won with the big boot.

I don't like the overly smark or overly mark. The smarks who are loud and annoying and don't like John Cena even though they can't even give you a good argument as to why they don't like him because they aren't as smart as they think. I also don't like the marks who are annoying especially if they aren't kids anymore. I just can't stand the guys who wear the wrestling shirt, bandana, sunglasses, and two giant expensive replica sized championship belts. The thing I hate about them is they act like they are smarks but they don't know a damn thing. I think you just described Diesel Train with that last part. ;D Diesel Train actually knows what he is talking about though. That's the part that annoys me about guys who do that. They start talking about wrestling as if they know all the behind the scene stuff and they couldn't even tell you how half the moves are done or they say something stupid like how most of the moves are fake and don't hurt at all which really annoys me because when I trained it was beyond brutal on my back and arms.

Tye Dye Guy, the guy dressed as a clown, or anyone who holds up a sign announcing their presence at the show. (like a sign that says "Jim" with an arrow pointing down) Get a clue. No one gives a F about you. Anyone else who continually tries to draw attention to themselves instead of the performers fails at life, in my opinion. Partially resembling that remark, and knowing these fans, you're way off base. In the case of Tye Dye Guy, he's earned that right as he's been going to shows for years. That makes him a b-list celeb, just like Sign Guy and WWE Clown, and Roddy Hogan (who is off the road right now because of health issues). You only make it a big deal if you choose to. It's just like a fan who wears a particular shirt - maybe their ONLY wrestling shirt - to a WWE event. In the case of these guys, they just go an extra step. You make it sound like these guys aren't fans of the product. They're there to see the show just as much as the next guy.

Czech fans. They do translate names of belts, moves sometime. but they don't inflect (is it the right word?) names. basically they write like idiots.

Everybody sucks but Me! But seriously, I hate people who go to shows, spout off smarky comments & try to intentionally ruin it for marks, like telling young children why their favourite wrestler sucks. It just grinds my gears.

I hate each and every single one of you. Me too. *GRUMBLE GRUMBLE* No seriously, for some reason guys who wear replica belts to shows annoy me. But that's probably because I'm bitter that they have that kind of money. I want an IC title I'm one of those guys, but to be fair it's only to get it autographed, and even then it's a 1,500$ plus belt.

People who throw out homophobic slurs and over-the-top insults. For the second, one guy shouted at Jerry Lynn at a ROH show in Dayton, "You should die like that guy in The Wrestler!" or something like that. It sounded particularly hostile, too. Dude probably also told him to go get cancer or AIDS or something also; I wouldn't put it past him.

I'd rather be around the "ignorant marks" actually enjoying the show then the over the top smarks with their theories about how backstage politics are ruining everything. And I'm right in the middle. I hate the jackass at shows who is the ONLY person trying to start some smarky chant or telling anyone around them who will listen all the headlines he read on the internet that day, spinning them into sounding like his own theories. At the same time, I hate super ignorant mark who goes on and on about why so and so is going to get fired from WWE or lose to so an so in a way where they think they sound smart, but end up just sounding dumb. We need more middle ground fans! When you think about, they really are the same fan. Just one thinks he knows everything and the other is just trying to sound like they have it all figured out. I also throw another one out there. Arrogant ex-wrestling fan. Come on, you all know the guy. Walks up to you with the dumb grin on his face and says something like, so.....is Stone Cold still wrestling? What's he been up to? Yeah I haven't watched that stuff in years, it's so dumb now (keep in mind they just told you they haven't watched in years). Acting like they "out grew" it or are now to good to watch it. It's most likely the same guy who jumped on the UFC bandwagon when it got hot and will ride it until the wheels fall off there as well and then dump it for the next big thing. Because they probably did the same thing with wrestling in the late 90's. I couldn't agree with you more. I know too many people that do that.

Ugh, there are these two guys at the indy I go to who are the most homophobic douchebags I've ever met. They don't just throw the slurs - they're actually massively homophobic. I was stuck sitting next to them last show I went to, and they were actually shouting homophobic slurs at another fan because he was cheering for Val Venis and because his shirt was "too gay". They were saying things like "GO HOME YOU f***ING F*****". On top of that, they go absolutely crazy with calling the wrestlers "f*****"... It's the only insult they know, apparently, because they never insult them in any other way. They get in the faces of wrestlers, shout it at the top of their lungs, and just make sure that everybody in the arena can hear them. Normally in that situation I'd say "Dude, shut the hell up, I'm gay" but I was actually SCARED of these guys and what they might do to me if I did that. This is, by the way, about an hour south of San Francisco, so not exactly the type of place that is overly welcoming of that type of attitude. Sorry for going a bit off topic, but I just needed to rant about these guys

It's sad that these people exist, much less that they (and the others who join in) are cool with loudly calling people faggot or whatever because they think all macho stereotypes are cool at a macho wrestling show. Pathetic.

Seriously, it's f***ing stupid already.

Honestly i'd rather next to a Mark than some snobby smark..
Atleast the Mark is having a good time, whilst the other guy is just trying to ruin it for everybody else around him.
Whats the point in even paying for a Ticket just to slag off the show?

I would even call them dumba** because that's what they are but hey that's just me and I don't keep my mouth shut for anything.

I would even call them dumba** because that's what they are but hey that's just me and I don't keep my mouth shut for anything. 99% of the time I'm like that. I'm actually pretty well known for being insanely blunt about shit like that and for never keeping my mouth shut. But like I said, I was actually scared of these guys. That's kind of what made it worse, that it was one of the very few times in my life where I haven't stood up to a jackass for being a jackass, because I was actually afraid that these guys would kill me or something. They were scary and drunk. Any wrestling fan in the audience who shouts "WHAT?!". Seriously, it's f***ing stupid already. "What" chants are the single worst thing to happen to professional wrestling. RAGE.
