The chick you see from time to time dressed like Paul Heyman.
Stop it. You think you're entertaining? You're boring. You're not funny and nobody likes you.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go hide from my boot to the head.

How could I forget "Boring Chant Fan". The guy who at the first sign of a "hold" of some sort will do his best to get the chant going. Or the second a wrestler who's debuting or hasn't had much TV time comes out, they go into oh my god we dont know how to react to you because we havent been told yet so your BORING, mode.

Anyone who thinks John Cena is really a hero. I mean the guy shows up even after he's been (kayfabe) fired and attacks like six or seven wrestlers. How exactly is that a good guy? I mean I know Nexxus beat him up and forced him to join there click but is assault and tresspassing really the best way to get revenge on them? How about you file a law suit or something?
Again I like Cena , He's alright. I use to be more annoyed with him back in 06 and 07 but I'm kind of mellow to him now. But no one can tell me a violent thug who attacks people outside of a wrestling ring hero. Even in kayfabe.

The most irritating fan type by far is "Guy Who Doesn't Know How To Enjoy A Live Show Guy", who has been mentioned in about half the posts in this thread.
Seriously, I understand being smarky. Almost everyone on this board has smark in them. I understand reading dirtsheets and wrestler tweets and being into backstage politics. You have to drop that attitude when you go to a live event.
The only way to enjoy a live show is like a mark. You have to let yourself get totally absorbed in the show. Stop trying to over analyze every segment, using the word "workrate" and trying to start ironic chants for three hours of your life. A super smark at a live show is like trying to watch a movie with a guy who is trying to loudly MST3K it the entire time.
It's called suspension of disbelief dude, try having fun once in awhile.

The guy in front of me who kept going "WHAT?" during a Del Rio promo and just yelling loudly in general while drinking his beer.

I agree. I've only been to one wrestling show (TNA at the start of the year in Glasgow. I know, but it was only just pre-Hogan though, and still had six sides, but anyway, I'll try and get to Raw/Smackdown next year), and I cheered for who I liked, and for all the cool moves made by the performers, regardless of their face/heel alignment, and I just had a fantastic time. Cheering for your favourite is fine, and Cena-esque battle chants are fine, but don't be a d**k and ruin it for other fans. The "wrestling sucks because it's PG" fan annoys me as well. It is non-sensical. But you, you already knew that.

The first one that comes to mind was a fan I sat close to watching the Royal Rumble at a movie theatre last year.
He was with a friend (who didn't say a word), and just kept saying things like "Oh Man, Michael Hickenbottom is gonna come out next, wait watch this, here he comes, WATCH!!!" and then Cody Rhodes walks out. He also thought that he was Jim Ross for like a solid 20 minutes. He was trying to do his best to call as many moves as possible.
I could go on, but in a nutshell, he wouldn't shut up, he tried to sound like he knew what was happening next and he called each wrestler by their real name, not their ring name.
Finally a guy in front of him who reminded me of Tazz slowly turned around and shouted, "ENOUGH!!" and the kid didn't say another word the entire night.

People who watch the show but openly admit they don't care about the matches. What the f*** are you watching wrestling for?

Tye Dye Guy, the guy dressed as a clown, or anyone who holds up a sign announcing their presence at the show. (like a sign that says "Jim" with an arrow pointing down) Get a clue. No one gives a F about you. Anyone else who continually tries to draw attention to themselves instead of the performers fails at life, in my opinion. Partially resembling that remark, and knowing these fans, you're way off base. In the case of Tye Dye Guy, he's earned that right as he's been going to shows for years. That makes him a b-list celeb, just like Sign Guy and WWE Clown, and Roddy Hogan (who is off the road right now because of health issues). You only make it a big deal if you choose to. It's just like a fan who wears a particular shirt - maybe their ONLY wrestling shirt - to a WWE event. In the case of these guys, they just go an extra step. You make it sound like these guys aren't fans of the product. They're there to see the show just as much as the next guy. Well sorry for offending you, but that's just how I feel. RE: Tye Dye Guy - I have no problem if you want to wear the same shirt to every show. That's fine. But why hold up a sign with your "name" on it? Seriously, what's the point in that? It makes you look lame. Is your life that miserable that you have to get attention through a wrestling show? I'm distracted by this guy when I watch the show on TV, and I don't like it. What does he add to the show? Nothing. I'm sure if I met him I would think he's an OK guy, but part of my wonders how old this dude is and what his motivations are. I shouldn't be wondering those things in the middle of a good Kingston/Swagger match, like I was last Friday. RE Clown guy: Whatever. If that's he wants to do, then great. I still think he's annoying though. It was funny the first couple times I saw him, but after several times I start to wonder what his deal is. Again, I don't like thinking about the fans when I should be thinking about the wrestlers. RE: Rick the Sign Guy - I like him, actually. I've sat next to him at a show and I think he's great. He makes signs that go along with the kayfabe happenings, which is cool. He doesn't always make it about himself. He got his attention for good reason. Lately I've noticed he's toned his act down a bit and he's normally sitting opposite of where the camera is facing. In fact, he was at the last show I went to and he didn't have any signs at all! He was just there to enjoy the show. Rick is cool in my book. RE: Hogan Guy - I don't mind this act at all.

I hated the scousers behind us at RAW 'Why do they have to hold signs up!?' and then kicked our chair. Ask me nicely and i'll put it down ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) That said, we were probably annoying during the Mason Ryan vs Chavo dark match. Mason was announced as from Manchester and me and a few mates started chanting 'You're from Wales *clapclap clapclapclap*' People laughed but i'm sure it annoyed someone, we behaved the rest of the night though ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Whoever that drunk guy was that elbowed me in the back intentionally at WM24 because I was apparently in the way of his seat. No, no, you just do that, asking me to get out of the way wouldn't have worked at all.
On the flip side, kids are the best fans. THE BEST.

Some good ones have been mentioned, but I'll go with, "Dudes Who Shout Disrespectful Things During Divas Matches."
At a Smackdown house show my girlfriend and I went to not too long ago, 3 guys took up some seats in front of us after intermission and the 1st match was Layla vs. Kelly Kelly. Sure, it's not going to be a 5-star match and the Divas are mostly used as eye candy, but you could tell the girls were at least trying to put on a halfway decent match (and they did). But these dudes were shouting stuff like "Give her a hug! Kiss her! Get naked! Sniff her hair a little!" It was pathetic and in an arena that was mostly filled with kids that day, it just wasn't very tactful.
But I agree with whoever said that kids are some of the best fans. They are without a doubt the loudest and most passionate crowd members at any show I've been to, and sometimes they can bust out a gem at a heel that's more creative than anything an adult can come up with.

Hearing a 5-year old telling a wrestler he "Sucks out loud" was awesome. I don't mind smarks in the audience but some of them can ruin an entire show. At a show in Erie I had two guys near me chanting for Edge ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Edge was not there, was not going to be there, not for anything and they would not be deterred. There's two idiots I see at house shows in Canton who chant stupid crap all through the show. They bragged to me when Carlito got mad enough to throw his apple at them. The fans AND the wrestlers didn't want them in the building, and it took quite a bit of "explaining" on my part to them why no one thought they were "Cool".

Do people who comment on Youtube count? I'd lump them in with the over the top Internet Smark. People who would go onto forums like this one and literally spout off some nonsensical hatred about why Wrestler A sucks or why Event B was awful. At least give reasons as to why you think they suck. Not just "Alberto Del Rio Sucks!!!" That sort of thing really irritates me. Other than that, most fans really don't bother me. I think the one fan that did bother me was that idiot who held up a sign at a 2007 Raw saying, "Chris Benoit was my dad. I'm glad he didn't know." I'm sure there are other fans out there that probably bugged me before, but I've blocked them out of my mind.

The type who complain that the wrestlers they don't like are "Stealing roster spots" from their RoH/DGUSA favorites.
