Cody Rhodes plays the pretty boy character so wonderfully and I think that pretty boy characters go hand in hand with tough guy body guards. What if one day Cody says that he has been offering his grooming tips to the whole world but he now feels the need to show people the results of his ways. He has given a superstar a "Dashing" makeover: out walks Mike Knox, but he is clean shaven, hair in a neat pony tail, and wearing a nice suit. He then becomes Cody Rhodes' body guard.
*Basically, a slight variation on the CM Punk/Luke Gallows story, as I think that there was a lot of untapped potential there. *Yes, I know Mike Knox is no longer with WWE.

Not a bad idea, but I'd like to see Rhodes be on his own for a while and try and build up a singles career. Has there ever been a time when Rhodes didn't have someone tagging along with him?

Then what? Knox just stands around during all of Cody's matches, wrestles on Superstars for awhile, the WWE gets bored, and he gets released again?

Well, this could give Tyler Reks some direction; Reks really needs something to do.
If getting a bodyguard would see Cody get a push, then I'd be all for this.

I'm sure WWE creative didn't ask that when splitting up Cryme Tyme, The Hart Dynasty, the Dudebusters, the Gatecrashers, or just about any other team in the last few years.

It's sad that it's probably true. The outline they have involves exactly what I said, minus the two most important words.

That would be great but I think it would be better if his bodyguard was extremely un-dashing. So it makes Cody look even more dashing by comparison.

I'd personally rather see a "Power and Glory" thing with him and Chris Masters. After seeing how the two looked next to each other in the ring on Superstars I really think they would match a ton better than he and any of his other tag partners have IMO.

I really wanted Husky Harris to become Cody's bodyguard.
