I got mixed feelings about Matt being in TNA which seems inevitable. Like, he'll be just another WWE alumni signed to TNA. But if history taught us anything about the Hardy Boyz, its that Jeff has always been the more exciting Hardy(Aside from the most reckless with his obvious drug addiction.) while Matt was always the boring one with his bland face attitude and endless ranting on the ones who wronged him in the past.
Sure, once he joins, Matt and Jeff will clash once more, but lets face it, after thats done and over with, what'll be left for Matt? The guy spent the better part of the 2000s being cannon fodder for heels. Sure different people are in charge in TNA, but there's nothing exciting about him. He's as exciting as dry toast. But if TNA can do something interesting like make Jeff Hardy the Anti Christ..maybe they can find something good for Matt.
Thoughts?

It's tough. Matt is incredibly talented. It was suggested by a dirt sheet writer in another thread that he might phone it in or whatever, something like, it's to be determined whether Matt will give it his all or phone the matches in. Matt has never been one to phone in his matches and always gives his best, so that's not going to be a worry.
Kurt Angle brought this up in his shoot interview. It's not a good idea to bring in a lot of guys who were just in WWE. Some guys are fine, like, incredibly good talented that could really help out.
It's one of the negatives of having so few options in wrestling, but so many wrestlers out there. If there was another promotion besides TNA or ROH, Matt would fit in perfectly there, as would a lot of WWE castaways who are talented.

Personally, I never liked Jeff Hardy as a wrestler and found Matt Hardy the more talented of the pair. Jeff was always more over, but I never understood why. I grudgingly tolerated Jeff's presence in TNA until his heel turn, and now I actually think Jeff found a niche that works fairly well for him. Matt could potentially provide another element, so I wouldn't necessarily mind to see what they come up for him.

Yes, so he can have his own spoof of the TNA name: Talking Nonstop about Amy.

I can't stand the person, but Matt is still pretty solid as a wrestler, if he is motivated and tries his best/stays in shape then I think he can have some good matches.

The most exciting thing about Matt was his 'tron. I don't see him doing anything in TNA. In fact, I see this as just another example of TNA throwing money at former WWE talent only to have it not work out. I know, it hasn't happened yet, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Not really. TNA's too loaded down with talent to bring in a guy who's just way past it. But, of course, because his brother's a main eventer, he'll be in anyways, and we'll get another Jeff vs. Matt feud, which has never worked anywhere.

Part of Matt's main problem is that management never supported him even when he earned it. With proper support he could be an asset, though he is definitely not going to be the answer for what ails them as a company. Still, if he is motivated bringing him in could definitely be of benefit. If he phones it in (which I highly doubt he will), THEN bringing him in is a colossal waste.

God No.
I'd be more excited at the possibility of Paul London getting signed, paired up with Kendrick, and those two-nut-jobs having free range to interact in TNA with their current liberated selves than to see Matt come and play Heel/Face with his Brother and be fat and eat grapes..
