Matt Hardy Version 1.0 is one of my favorite gimmicks of all time. That said, his presence in TNA wouldn't interest me at all.

I really dont think he and Jeff will feud. I see them squashing the Machine Guns and Beer Money and being tag champs. But no TNA would be better off with no Hardys

He's gonna just be another guy there.

He's gonna just be another guy there. Here's the thing: Real talk, he's just another guy anywhere. He's good, but he's NOT main event material. TNA, however, will try to present him as main event material, for two reasons, those being his rather high profile split with WWE, and the fact that their champ is his brother. And it won't work.

Exactly. He's a solid contributor but he's not anywhere near the top tier of the roster. TNA really can't do anything without him without it looking either like a waste of time or if they are trying to force him into a spot that nobody actually believes that he should be in.

I'm a Matt fan but no, I don't want him in TNA. I don't really think he's a fit for what TNA is doing right now.

Guy seems like the female Mickie James, except no one's trying to stop the fat jokes for Matt.

He had a good run, maybe he should not destroy his own body anymore, settle down, and open a wrestling school or something. Is a few extra years of wrestling really worth not being able to walk when you are sixty?

I think he could be great in TNA, if he's motivated.

Honestly, no. I hope he proves me wrong, but he's so goddamn boring in the ring. It's like watching a robot on auto-pilot, just going through the motions. I haven't seen him do anything genuinely interesting in the ring in a long, long time. Everything he does just seems so forced. I would've totally marked for a Samoa Joe vs. Matt Hardy match 3-4 years ago, before they both let themselves go

I would love to see him in TNA. I don't think a Hardy/Hardy match would be anything near the draw they'd think it'll be. It'd be a peripheral curiosity/semi main event thing and shouldn't involve the main title. Matt'd be in the midcard, ideally and he's never shown enough "bigggnessss" to justify being anywhere else on the card, even Version 1.0.
If they ever got serious about the X-Division again, and re-emphasized the "it's not about weight limits, it's no limits" thing, Matt'd make a class addition, he's a marvelous wrestler.

The real issue isn't Matt Hardy - its TNA.
I'm not a Hardy fan, but if TNA was creative enough to actually use characters from another Fed in a compelling way - I'd be all for it.
But he'll show up as "Matt Hardy- the wrestler who built his fame else where" and TNA will do nothing to build his own persona.

I don't care one way or another. He's ok, but he's really had the apex of his career already; he's a solid wrestler, but abysmal on the microphone most of the time, can't deny the guy's usually always over, but eh, I can take or leave him.

I only want to see Matt under the Angelic Diablo gimmick with a cardboard cutout of Lita.
