Bill Behrens, who coordinates independent bookings for several TNA stars including Shannon Moore, noted on his weekly podcast that company officials have allowed Hardy in the past to wrestle while impaired.
Behrens also discussed Hardy's vicious chair shot to the back of Ken Anderson's head in October, which resulted in the former Mr. Kennedy suffering a severe concussion and sizable wound. He said that Anderson is in a great position to sue the organization since he could claim Hardy was unfit to compete when he issued the negligent chairshot. Behrens says it's considered an "open secret" within the company that Hardy is still using drugs and thus they wouldn't have a chance in court.

TNA continues to make WWE seem like the good guys when it comes to substance abuse, and that's quite an accomplishment.
Hell, they almost make Zandig look responsible.
EDIT: Also, if this is true, TNA really should be taken to task for this.

At first I would say that this sounds like NEWZ but given TNA's history of poor decisions and Hardy's drug history it honestly would not surprise me at all.

Would the idea that Jeff Hardy would wrestle while on drugs and TNA would look the other way really be that much of a surprise?
I thought it was a forgone conclusion at this point.

Really, did we need MORE people name dropping Bill f'n Behrens? One guy was enough.
And if Jeff was as wasted as people seem to think he is, you'd think someone would have noticed, either the different sports associations during examinations or anyone outside the company. At this point, Jeff is to drug stories as Kurt Angle was to death pools.

Yeah, I'm more shocked people are shocked. This is a company seriously considering giving Scott Hall another chance for God's sake.

His awful match with Rob Terry may be explained right, cause Jeff Hardy having a bad match with Rob Terry can only be explained by DRUGS! Really, if this is true, and the only proof you give for it are that match and the chairshot, that's not shameful, that's downright lucky, having the guy for a full year with only 2 incidents.

Regardless if this is true or not, the reputation of Jeff Hardy is so damaged that almost anything said about him can be considered believable.. and that's sad.
I used to love The Hardys so much. At this point, my opinion on them both could not be lower. While Matt can be considered a professional in the ring, he's so irritating that both of them are nearly insufferable.

Why does this not shock me? TNA never should have hired him in the first place, but the fact that they knew he was wasted and still had him perform is mind-blowingly stupid. In a way, I'm glad that someone semi close to him is speaking out. He seems to be enabled by everyone around him and he is never going to get help as long as people coddle him. Really, I don't want to see this guy in a wrestling ring anymore, and I say this as a fan.

And here I thought we banned the "rolling eyes" gif because it comes off as condescending... I think people are upset because Jeff Hardy has potential to be great and bring so much to TNA, but it's his drug usage that has held him down. And now with it coming to light that he may have been drug impaired when injuring another wrestler, it doesn't bode well for him. Pro-TNA, Anti-TNA, anything-TNA, a wrestler under the influence of a controlled substance should never step foot in the ring where he could be of danger to others.

Maybe eventually WWE will want him back. I'm just wainting for Jeff Hardy to be found dead and that's sad as the Hardy Boys have always been some of my favorites. Honestly....what has happened to the two of them in the past few years?

1. Bill Behrens doesn't work for TNA.
2. Bill's been "angry" at TNA for some time now.
3. No one is that friggin stupid in that organization to let that fly.
