Tiebreaker: Magnus with a lariat
Anderson backs Magnus into the corner and feints to go for a chop but instead nails him with a right hand. Anderson the hauls Magnus to the other corner and goes to ram him into the turnbuckle but Magnus blocks it and elbows Anderson. Anderson responds with a right hands, Magnus hits a right of his own and soon champion and challenger are brawling in the middle of the ring. Anderson gets the advantage and whips Magnus into the ropes but makes the mistake of lowering his head. Magnus counters with a kick then comes off the ropes with a boot.

Anderson kicks out. Magnus whips Anderson into the ropes again, ducks underneath, then hits a jumping back elbow on Anderson as he comes back. Magnus then grabs Anderson arm and hits an arm trap neckbreaker.

Anderson kicks out again. Magnus waist for Anderson to get to his feet and goes for the Tormentum but Anderson rakes the eyes to get out of it. Anderson then catches Magnus and hits for the Mic Check!

Shark Boy runs down to ringside and pulls the ref out of the ring. While the ref is arguing with Shark Boy, JKO grabs the world title and tosses it to Magnus. Magnus nails Anderson with the belt as Shark Boy practically throws the ref back in the ring.

3!
JB: Here is your winner and STILL TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Brutus Magnus!
West: Magnus retains! Tenay: Yeah, thanks to JKO and Shark Boy. How the hell can he be proud of that? West: Because he’s still the champion, that’s how. Tenay: Well I think it’s a disgrace. Good night folks. I can’t believe this.
Magnus stands celebrating with JKO and Shark Boy and the show goes off the air.

*makes sad eyes* I've never been world champion. I know but not a fan of frequent world title changes. I tried to make it up by making Anderson look as strong as possible in defeat. Technically it took three guys to beat him.

Apparently, none of my characters are capable of winning a match on their own. I know, I'm bitching about winning, but GAH! The first title defense, I realize the voting was close and I definitely didn't want Anderson buried, but why not a clean win? Even heels win fairly sometimes!

I'm dropping whatsherface and taking Hernandez right now.
After the Impact tapings scheduled next week (meaning late Tuesday), I may be switching Hernandez for Homicide depending on the results of those tapings.

Because I made the split-second decision to write it like that with the view to Anderson possibly getting a rematch. Just blame Tank. I intend to.

Okay, for the "blame me for not voting" crowd, here's my defense.
We all know how I feel about Magnus, despite M's work.
What may not be universally known, is that Mr. Anderson is very high on, if not the top of, my current list of guys I hate in wrestling. Again, despite Jon's work.
So, I'd rather not vote than pick between two guys I hate and guarantee that one of their writers is angry at me for voting against them.
Apologies all around.
EDIT: Mikael Judas accepts that challenge. Hernandez would like a match with Christopher Daniels.
M, PM me. We has shit to discuss.

The Jacksons want a match. Matt Morgan will require a victim. The Lake Erie Monsters would like a match, either as a tag team or a singles match for one.

We should be way beyond judging based on real life characters at this point.

This is probably the only time I will support someone on that particular issue. But I would have been extremely pissed off if Tank had voted Anderson.

What's Eric Bischoff's history? I know he was a member of the Chosen, but I don't really know much else.

Kind of a slap in the face to Jono that you'll never vote for Anderson no matter what he does.
