So I found out yesterday that there is a MegaCon event in Orlando this weekend starting today and Stan Lee will be there. I havent been into comics in a LOOOOOOONG time but still. It's Stan Lee and as a long time marvel mark I definately should go. Its $25 to get into the event and the picture is $40. Which I guess isnt too bad compare to what they are charging us for William Shatner's booth which is $65 for autograph or picture.
Lou Ferrigno apparently will be there too.
I've never been to one of these things before. The only costume I have is a Spiderman spandex jump suit I got for halloween but i'll sweat my nads off if I wear that. I have some comic jerseys so I may have to settle for that.

Stan Lee is pretty bad ass, though I'd rather pay to hear more of his stories than anything. Guy has seen so much in the industry.

Id gladly pay 40 bucks for a picture with Stan The Man. Hope you get to meet him. I'm just kinda leery because i've had bad experiences with staff when it comes to them taking pictures of me with famous people. They always seem to mess it up for me. |

As a promoter and having met tons of big name people for nothing my desire to pay to meet anyone is zero. Its pretty wrong to be charged money to shake someones hand, have them scriibble on some paper andd if your lucky snap a very expensive photo?! Stan Lee is cool though!
