Just watched the movie, and holy shit, what a downer it is. Just...the weight of that depressing-ass ending is just overwhelming.
I haven't read the book, but I think I'd like to.
In any case, anyone else see this? What'd you kids think?

The book takes about ten minutes to read, so I'm told. The film on the other hand, I guess it's some really really roundabout metaphor for the futility of life, or at least escaping death. That being said, it is unrelentingly grim, I'd go as far as to say it's a bad movie based on that fact. Wonderfully shot, mind.

I wouldn't say it's a bad movie due to how insanely depressing it is...but I can see why one wouldn't wanna watch it because of that. Seriously awesome flick though. Probably one of my favorites of 2010.

Okay, I just watched it. It was a very well made film and the acting was great. I give it thumbs up definitely.
I am going to go hug my wife and son now.
