Asked this elsewhere but figure I could maybe get some help here too - I've always wondered about this - that montage of promos on the Self Destruction Of The Ultimate Warrior DVD with Warrior ranting at the moon in front of his own background has always amused me and i'm wondering where they came from? I'm not after anything as specific as actual dates (though they would be helpful) but if anyone recognises them i'd be really interested to know what shows they came from.
I've always thought SNME opening montages or Superstars, but having never really seen any of those shows extensively I can't be too sure. Anyone able to help?

A lot of those with the Warrior background were probably made for superstars . I remember Sean Mooney doing short promos at the "event center" for wrestlers (usually 2 promos per event center) and it'd be like Warrior and then the Honky Tonk Man both talking about different opponents.

Yea I had an inkling some of them might have been from the Superstars event centre bits, or from the old 'Update' segments. I've seen some SNME and they sometimes have them at the beginning, but can't recall any Warrior ones off the top of my head.
Funny as those ones in front of the background are, some of those earlier ones where he hadnt quite got the hang of his character yet and was roaring as loud as he could that "THE FAMILY THEY I LOVE FOR ONLY BREEEEEEEATHES THE AIR THAT SMELLS OF COMBAT" seem a little more out of control

Yeah he somehow got a handle on his gimmick. His promos still made no sense, but he seemed more confident in presenting them.
