I couldn't help but notice the collection of personalities in the opener. We've got Michael Hayes, Jimmy Garvin, Tom Zenk, Tracey Smothers, Steve Armstrong, Brad Armstrong under a hood, DDP and Oliver Humperdink managing, Bill Alfonso is the referee. plus Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone on commentary. The Diamond Doll that night even looks like Kimberly but that could just be a coincidence

That was a good opening match if I recall. The Southern Boys and Z-Man do a triple sunset flip and pin all three guys right?

That was a pretty good card overall. Flair/ Eaton 2 out of 3 falls, a suprising good Luger/ Muta match, a really good Sting/ Nikita Koloff match (man they worked well together), and a good Steiners/ Hase and Chono tag match.

I also like Ricky Morton interfering in the Rhodes/Taylor match and joining the York Foundation followed by a commercial for that Sunday's episode of The Main Event featuring clips of The "New" York Foundation of Taylor and Morton taking on the Young Pistols. since that match clearly took place before the Clash, Dustin should have been pissed at the Pistols for not warning him!

The Pistols stole the New Breed's time traveling gimmick!

Think of all the extra costs associated with bringing an entourage of guys to the ring when only 3 were competing.

this is also the show where they showed a "Coming Attactions" piece on Stunning Steve where he's clearly wearing the TV belt in the video even though the current Television champ was in the main event.
