...that few people knew about. This is not for people like Sting or things like that. This is for people you wanted to see in a bigger promotion but never happened. ...and here's my choice: Pre-Divafication, I could have seen her in WWE playing an early Victoria role...maybe a bit more violent than that.

Terry Garvin/Simms from the old GWF that aired on ESPN. I always thought he would go somewhere, especially after his feud with "Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert.

Riot was one of the only bright spots in that tremendously bad promotion.
Wildside - Mark Starr and Chris Champion. Had a great look and presence about them. Just a little sloppy in the ring though.
Blackbirds- Iceman King Parsons and Brickhouse Brown. Just a solid all around good heel tag team.

It really sucks that Reckless Youth never got the chance to perform on a national stage. He had one match in the old ECW at the Queens, NY Elk's Lodge, but never returned after that. He tore it up on the indys from 1995-2000 or so.

He tore it up on the indys from 1995-2000 or so. He and "Dirty" Don Montoya are two of my all-time favorites. Nova claimed at Cyberslam '99 that Reckless never had another match because he was slated to lose at the ECW Arena, and refused. I think the slot ended up going to Steve Corino. Also, I liked NJ wrestler Section 8 so much, I married him. ;D

He tore it up on the indys from 1995-2000 or so. There was a late 90's into 2000 group of talent that seemed to always gotten tryout matches but never signed. It was him and Donavon Morgan. Then there was Daniels who made a couple ECW appearnces. TNA then started in 02 where he got his break. I'm surprised that Christian York didn't go forther. He and Joey Mathews where all over the place at one time. Then after ECW went. Mathews went to get signed by WWE and York just floated away basicly.

Michael Modest was another name that seemed to get a lot of attention (modestly) in the late 90s that never made it to the big stage for more than a cup of tea.

"Textbook" Tyson Dux
He is currently the Maximum Pro Wrestling Triple Crown Champion, after defeating Robbie McCallister in my hometown last April. He is a helluva worker, and has a great look to him. He did appear in TNA in 08 for the World X Cup. But why he isn't signed to TNA or WWE is mind boggling as I think he could make a good run for himself.

I always wanted to see Reckless Youth as he was always hyped up in PWI when I was young.
I remember when I finally saw the Lightning Kid on Global over one summer, and I thought he was just great. I wish Reckless Youth would have been in the Lightning Kid/Jerry Lynn/Terry Garvin/Patriot show. I liked those guys.

Never, ever saw him wrestle, but I've always been sad that "Beef Stew" Lou Marconi never made it big. With a nickname like that, I was already rooting for him .

i agree with Mike Modest, it was such a bitch slap that him and Daniels finally get signed to WCW, and then the company folds. Luckily for Daniels he became a mainstay in TNA, but Modest didnt even get a run in ROH or PWG.

I always thought that SAT was a cool high flying tag team. They had a brief brush with success during the early days of ROH and TNA (both could be considered indy feds in those days) but they never went on to have much success, despite the fact that their somewhat "honerary member" Amazing Red became at least somewhat of a star.

Terry Gold, Riot, Jungle Grrl, Becky the Farmer's Daughter, etc. I may be the only one who thought that WOW wasn't such a bad promotion. Caged Heat was pretty good, too.

David Young. A great worker, very athletic for a relatively big guy.

Over the past month I have seen about 4 or 5 matches from the following two indy workers.
Ron"The hornstar" Horn-Based outta Arkanasas, seems to mainly work in the SE. Has amazing amounts of charisma, and also a good in-ring worker. Does a kinda prissy heel gimmick. Also looks a lot like Matt Hardy.
Mr 500 Barry Wolf-Amazing southern style face. Was number 500 in this years PWI 500. Very good well rounded wrestler.
