The Game has the Spirit June 9, 2006 The office of the Chairman of WWE has just announced that Triple H will face the entire Spirit Squad in a five-on-one Handicap Match this Monday night on RAW. The announcement comes on the heels of Triple H’s latest example of blatant defiance of Mr. McMahon’s authority, which ended with the Chairman being knocked out cold with his pants around his ankles after The Game refused to join the Kiss My Ass Club. Clearly, Mr. McMahon does not take too kindly to being embarrassed in his very own ring. As a result, The Game must now square off against Kenny, Mikey, Nicky, Johnny and Mitch. Will the King of Kings live to regret his actions of last Monday night? Or will the former 10-time World Champion manage to stick it to Mr. McMahon once again, this time by turning back his hand-picked henchmen, the Spirit Squad. Watch RAW this Monday night on USA for the answer to these questions and more. www.wwe.com/shows/raw/articles/2402784/2893400

I'm beginning to see a trend. Somehow i think only about 2 % of people will not see Dx vs Spirit Squad coming.

yeah, how does the WWE rationalize thinking that putting on the same match practically every week is good for ratings?

If it works once, it'll work again. That seems to be there motto

Ok, it was funny to begin with. It's just ridiculous now. Triple H should have a real opponent, like that hardcore gangsta himself, John Cena.

I'm surprised they haven't done Cena vs. Spirit Squad, oh wait that's the main event for next week.

The question on my mind is how they would make single members of the Spirit Squad legitimate single wrestlers after weeks of relieing on each other and being beaten by hhh and michaels

Simple, Kenny turns on them, tired of constantly getting his butt kicked and accuses them of holding him back from his dreams of being the youngest WWE champion. he beats them all senseless.
With the spirit Squad gone, Kenny can pursue the gold...but first he must get through...DUN DUN DUNNNN
RESTHOLD RANDY ORTON!
and yes, i think Kenny could do well without being saddled with the "5 fanny bandits in adidas tracksuits" gimmick.
well, he'll do well until he becomes youngest champion in order to spite Randy Orton, and then he gets a big ego and the vicious cycle of stupidity continues

I mark out for the spirit squad so the more I can see them the better. Seriously I love the male cheerleader gimmick, I think it's great the way it seems to rub people the wrong way.

Don't forget that after they lay down for Trips, the Spirit Squad joins the Kiss My Ass Club. Or so you think, when after embarassing Vince in the ring, they get booked against... the Spirit Squad?
You know that's where it's leading.

Now *that* is *so* a setup for HBK to go and save Triple H and reform DX with him at the end of the show. If it doesn't hapeen this Monday, then something is clearly messed up in the booking.

I like them too, just that they are in the same formula match "Spirit Squad vs. Random Babyface" in a handicap match, that's probably the thing that people don't like the most.

Different scenario. Kenny, tired of losing cause of the rest of them, defects and joins DX. he doesnt even need to change his attire dramaticly, grren and white to green and black

They should have at least made it a cage match or something.
