I didn't even see his best.
Boy, I've been lazy(er) this week.

I'm going to laugh if he mentions 'overly caustic internet critics'.

The first few weren't exactly cliches, but still an interesting list.

I loved how he gave props to Kiki's Delivery Service for not following any of the cliches he mentioned in his list.
I never actually saw that movie like that. For the most part, he's right, Kiki's Delivery Service is, for the most part, cliche free.

I don't get the opening credits one. Wedding Crashers has the worst bully character. As soon as he gets on screen, everything halts.

Some films, like the Spider-man films, have AWESOME opening credits, they look cool and get you ready for the film, where as, on the opposite end, and these are the ones he's complaining about, they do the opening credits like it was a TV show where they show the actual film while putting the credits over it. In other words, the credits and the beginning of the film are one and the same.

I agree strongly on The Opening Credits and The Missunderstanding One that he missed though, that I remember he said he hated.... {Spoiler}IT WAS ALL A DREAM!

Good list for the most part, except #4 is a bit of a stretch. Granted, Patch Adams is the worst way possible to execute it, but the "quirky dreamer" is an omnipresent staple of fiction in one way or another. It's only bad writing that turns that into a negative, not the quirky dreamer themself.

The "Liar Revealed" one is a pretty good choice; that and "The Misunderstanding" are the two biggest things that bring a film to a screeching halt for me, hate those.
That said, he referenced Rango, but I think that flick handled it decently. The crowd didn't turn on Rango, they didn't chase him out of town, he was just scared off by an adversary who presented a challenge that was a much bigger bite than he could chew. It was more appropriate: the crowd still liked him, appreciated the good stuff he'd done, WANTED to believe in him, but the "Liar Revealed" moment just confused and baffled them more than anything.
It's when people get all angry and whatnot that it just halts the whole damn thing for me. "Forget about all the good stuff you've done, you lied, GET HIM!".

I 100% agree with the Shakey cam, I hate that so much.. This really should have been a Nostalgia critic review rather than a Doug Walker

Doug Walker has made a worst cliches list...?
he is aware that pots, kettles, and the color black exist right...?
and by the way...to the op...you might wanna put a spoiler tag, 'cause now 1 or 2 films I planned on seeing have been ruined...

I REALLY appreciated number 10. I dont. I refer to near every female I know as a 'girl', on the flipside, I also refer to every guy I know as a 'boy' but as he said its a pet peeve of his more than a cliche x

I like how Cliches 1,2 & 3 were all in wedding crashers yet he still copped to liking it
Out of the ones he mentioned I'd say The Misunderstanding annoys me most for the reason he said, you just know they're getting back together eventually

I agree with most of the list, especially excessive camera movements (and I'd add excessive cuts to that)
Quantum of Solace's car chase is a good example. Just awful and nausea inducing.
Die Another Day's car chase was better.

The "ZOMG WE SUDDENLY HAVE NO CELL PHONE SIGNAL" is my personal pet peeve.
Lazy screenwriting at its best.
