I am here with Eric Young, who was cheated of a win by Phil Shatter after a low blow behind the ref’s back. Eric, your thoughts?
Brooke, I guess it’s my job to tell these people what they already know, that I was screwed over. Again. Once again I need to take this mic, stare right into the camera, and tell the world that Shatter is nothing but a coward! When Jarrett suspended Hogan and my opponent tonight, Judas, for once, I actually thought we’d have a fair match. But of course, and I don’t know why I never see this coming, he cheated his way to another win.
But honestly, why don’t you just give up Eric? You keep fighting him, and you keep losing.
I lost to a low blow. It was an act from a desperate man. Brooke, give me the mic.
*Brooke hands mic over*
Face it Shatter, I’m getting smarter. Every trick you use gets engrained into my skull, and there is no way in hell the same trick will get me twice. I told you already, I’m a survivor. Remember? I yelled it into the camera before our match at Victory Road. Well, what do survivors do? The show taught me that they Outwit. Outlast. Outplay. Outwitting you, that’s easy. Let’s face it, you aren’t the smartest guy in the world. Outplaying you? In the words of Kevin Nash “look at the adjective, play. We aint here to play”. Me and you, we don’t play, we wrestle. But in that ring I can wrestle circles around you. And finally Outlast. I will outlast every obstacle thrown in my way Shatter. If you think, after that cheap win at Victory Road, that I’m done, and that you are on to better and greater things, then you clearly haven’t been paying attention.
*Eric Young hands Brooke the Mic and walks off screen*
*Comes back*
Oh yeah, and Judas, don’t worry I didn’t about you. Tonight we have a match, and I’m going to use it to my advantage. We're going to play a game called *airquote* "role reversal *airquote*. Tonight, I’ll be using you to send a message to someone else. Sound like anybody you know? *smirk*
*hands Brooke the Microphone and starts to walk away again*
Off Screen: WAIT!
*Enter Eric Bischoff*
BISCHOFF!?!
What the hell are you…
Stay calm EY. I’m just here to talk.
Me and you? talk? After all the things…
Listen. Let me speak. Please. I’ve had a month off. I spent time with my wife, Loree, My son Garrett, and my daughter Montanna. Quite frankly, I came to a realization. I’m old …
*Young and Brooke smirk*
AND, pay attention, my thinking was outdated. My plan was to come in, insert my own guys, then what, success? My tried and true formula of the 90s, well, it just wasn’t right for this decade, this age. I’ll man up, I’ll look you straight in the eyes EY and tell you I was wrong. The Chosen were wrong.
That’s it? “I was wrong”! That’s all you have to say? Bischoff, if it wasn’t for you, I would’ve been World Champ! You screwed me over! You’re lucky, if it weren’t for me saving my energy for Judas tonight, I’d be kicking your ass right now.
I came back to fix my mistakes. I could’ve just stayed home, lounging by the pool, kick on my TV, watch some Impact, and watch you lose to Shatter again. What are you, 0-3 against him?
*Young shoots Bischoff a death glare*
*stammering* But… But back to my point, I’m here to help you out. I look at Shatter, Judas, and especially Hogan, and it just reeks of The Chosen to me. And guess what EY, now it’s your time to shine. Now you have to step up for the true TNA. And quite frankly, so far you are falling for the same tricks. Backstage assaults, outnumbering others, cheating for victory, its mine and Hogan’s bread and butter. So Eric, let me help you. Let me stand by your side tonight vs Judas. I know Hogan’s tricks! For all your talk about being a survivor, its time to do what survivors do best, ADAPT! I’m your best chance for victory.
*Bischoff holds out hand for handshake*
Come on Eric, I'm a changed man.
*Eric Young looks at the hand, then looks at Bischoff’s face*
You know what, I listened to what you said, and you’ve really changed my mind…
It is worth the energy to knock you out!
*Young throws a knockout punch launching Bischoff backwards into the set*
*He then walks away leaving Brooke and an unconscious Bischoff*
Well . . . that was interesting, back to you, Tenay.
