People say Invasion failed cos they used WWF guys. Has anyone not noticed this angle is going the same way? The 2 big names of ECW are Kurt Angle and Big Show, both former WWE Champs. Neither has been in ECW. And just like the Invasion where they didnt care about the actual wCw start, does anyone not notice they are concentrating on Angle and not mentioning people like Balls, Stevie, Guido etc.
Im callin it right now, this is going the same way as Invasion.

They are trying to get ratings.
Who in hell across the country would watch ECW if there were no WWE stars in it?
Most people aren't hardcore fans like we are.

Look, I don't know what you people were expecting. It's been quite evident for weeks now that this wasn't going to be the rebirth of ECW as you knew it.
I don't get all the shock at this.

So why even bring it back in the first place? Because by mixing the ECW cult status with name WWE stars they have a chance to make money. And this is all about making money. Everything Vince McMahon does is motivated by that single instinct.

I think ECW will succeed once its gets on its way, hopefully being totally separated form WWE. I just dont see Big Show or Kurt Angle in ECW. Its a little weird for me.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't have a problem with it.
Simply rehashing the old ECW would have bored me to tears.
Maybe (I said, 'maybe') this incarnation will be pretty good.

Not to swing my smarkdom around...but I've been an ECW fan since 1993. I watched it on the first channel it was ever on, Sportschannel Philadephia.
And I'm really enjoying having it back. I'm really enjoying the special. The Ultimate Warrior could join at the end of the show. I'm so glad it's back.

I don't mind Big Show in there. He's so stagnant on Raw and Smackdown, hopefully Heyman will be able to come up with something for him in ECW. And get rid of that godawful entrance theme.

i think the key here is, that the wrestlers get to use a different style in ECW, thats why im looking forward to it so much
