I remember around when the PS2 came out I had a friend that was waiting on the first PS2 game to use 2 discs. Don't think it ever happened. There's actually several PS2 games out there with multiple discs. I can't think of most of them, but Grandia III is one of them. Star Ocean: Till the End of Time and Shadow Hearts: Covenant as well.

Riven was the WORST, simply because each disc had to do with an area in the game, and not how far along the game was. Half the time playing that was switching discs out.

This isn't spectacular, but I remember being mindblown over the fact that Heart Of Darkness (PS1) was two discs. I know that was actually the late 90s, but all my other PS1 games at the time were on single discs, and I was baffled by the fact that a game actually could be that long. XDD

Back in the days was cool that a game had 4 cd's because people thought that this mean more content
Now people bitch when there's a 2 disc game on the xbox because they had to change CD. WTF? you only had to do it one time in your life
I never understood this 2 points of view
Final Fantasy XIII on xbox uses 3 discs, is not old school, but still could be applied today, same with castlevania lords of shadows (2 discs)

I think I remember Resident Evil 2 having two discs, or did I just make that up? It was two. Cool thanks. I spent a lot of time playing that game.

Final Fantasy VII was 3 discs. And Final Fantasy VIII and IX were 4 discs. So was The Legend of Dragoon. Legend of the Dragoon?? Oh man, I haven't thought of that game in many years! I wonder why they never made a sequel, it was a great game!

One of my friends, and even some of my schools, had Apple IIs. With the bigass floppy disks that were actually floppy.

I just like to act like a curmudgeon to anyone younger than me. I had an Apple IIe I think it was. Good times.
