Anybody else absolutely love this show? Dave Hester is such a great heel. I've added "YEEEEEPPPPPPPPPP!" into my everyday vocabulary, and use it whenever my favorite sports teams score.

I do love this show, and I hate Dave. Dude's a douche, and I would give you a dead leg for sure if you YEP'd me.

I keep hoping Brandi will leave that goofball she's with. He kinda bugs me.

Brandi is smoking hot, Dave is a monumental dick, Darrell(?) is kind of boring, and the other guy is trying too hard to be outrageous. It's a decent show, I think that I prefer the one with the same concept that comes on Spike though, Auction Hunters(?)

I prefer the version on Spike, Auction Hunters or something like that. They tend to find cooler stuff and actually go into the history of the items a little. The few episodes of Storage Wars I saw basically have the people saying "I don't care where it came from, just tell me how much it's worth!"

I can't stand Dave & Darrell's little tiff between each other. I can see why Dave buys so much stuff, he runs a business and has the capital at hand to be able to afford it. Darrell is "the gambler" but still somewhat makes a living at finding stuff. So, I've come to terms about not caring all that much about him anymore. Dave may be a jerk, but you can't run a business without stepping on some toes. Barry, I don't know about him. He's more of a gambler than Darrell is - he's more of an antiques guy. He doesn't see "the biggah pict-cha" and is usually the guy who ends up with nothing to show for his little investment. Brandi & Jarrod just clash so much, it's amazing their little store is still around. They're always trying to one-up each other. Nice "teamwork".
It's interesting in a perverse sort of way.

My girlfriend swears every time when we watch this show that Barry is actually Michael Douglas...it's hilarious...
But yeah I watch this show too much for not much to ever really happen...

I think Auction Hunters is a load of bullshit. I've never seen an episode where those cocky pricks strike out. I'm all for reality TV being completely fake, but at least show the dangers of being a storage unit buyer.

I'm all for reality TV being completely fake, but at least show the dangers of being a storage unit buyer. They have a disclaimer at the start of the show that says the things they are showing only the best, and they've said over the course of the show that for every good room, they usually have 9 or 10 bad ones. They also have showed rooms that were busts, they just tend to be in the same units that they bought something good.

I thought this was the lamest idea for a show, but then Spike rolled out Repo Games - answer questions correcty, and we won't repo your car!
That one has resulted in bullets.

i enjoy storage wars....there was an episode that i marked out for...Jarred and Brandi bought a storage unit after Dave "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP" them up to about 600 bucks for it...turns out one of the things in there was a big crate of Mego action figures...all in the box in perfect condition...they took it to a comic book shop and when they took the toys out you could actually see the comic book clerk trying his best not to freak out over all of these superhero toys.
