Yeah, i know the smoking thing has been done to death today, but I honestly can't understand how a wrestler or other athlete can smoke. How can you smoke and be in good enough shape to do what they do? I know Orton is boring, but he still does something without being blown up. My cousins who smoke 20 cigs a day can't do that.

Your cousins probably don't work out as hard as Randy Orton or other athletes though. Their hard work and training negate a lot of it, especially in their youth, but there's no way of telling how much more stamina and fitness some athletes could have had if they didn't smoke.

I knew someone in high school who smoked, was asthmatic and was a track runner.
You can't control the asthma, but surely smoking would be a stupid habit to take up when you already have trouble breathing, especially if you want to be a runner?

Off the top of my head, I can think of Dimitar Berbatov, Mario Lemieux, Mark Messier and Carey Price.

I applaude this man, smoking, track, and asthma, he's truly embraced my motto of "I don't give a f***"...and no I'm not being an ass that is one of my 2 lifes mottos

Zidane, Barthez, Blanc, Vialli, Ardilles (I think), Macheda, Beckham, Rooney, Socrates, Gazza, Sheringham, Cryuff, and David James off the top of my head.

I've heard it said that Rick Rude's workouts used to make others in the gym stop and watch. And that he chain smoked the entire time.
Ricky Morton still smokes, as I actually had one with him at the Fanfest last year. In one of his shoots, he mentions how Flair used to get onto him during their singles run, telling him to quit and threatening to blow him up in the ring that night.
Harley Race is another who apparently smoked back in the day and still does. Of course, Harley beat polio, so he's a little different to say the least.

First time I ever went to a live event (Smackdown in '08) Kennedy was outside smoking. Mindf***ed me back then. Me and my friend were like 'that's not healthy!'
Actually, come to think of it, he wasn't the only one. Pretty sure Kendrick was smoking too. (Cue obvious joke...)

Guy Lafleur used to smoke on the bench, in between periods. After the game he'd sit in a pub alone drinking and smoking. Then go to bed. Then get up and go to the rink in the morning and smoke all day until game started.
