High School gets a lot of hate here. While I understand, what in particular made/makes your HS/HS experience suck so much.
My classes were boring and I wasn't exactly popular, but it was fine. A State champion basketball team made it more fun

Nothing was bad. My high school experience was AWESOME!
I mean I guess the only thing you could consider bad was me getting shot down a few times by girls, but that's no big deal.

The only thing bad about High School for me was how my school was set up.
I was the first class that went through all four years in the new High School that was built in my area. The old building became a middle school.
The new high school had it set up so that each wing of the building was a different department...two floors. So...for example, the bottom right section had social studies on the first floor, science on the second.
The problem was none of my classes were ever close to each other, so I was always rushing from one class to the other.
Other than that things were OK.

I miss school I enjoyed it, had a great bunch of friends, had a lot of fun and didn't really find the lessons all that boring. Whereas when I entered the working world I didn't make any real friends (Worked in an office were everyone was older, had their own lives or had little in common with them) found the work boring and hated how long the days were (9-5 but had to get up at 7 and very rarely got back in the house until half 6) So. . . Yay school! I loved it.

Got into a few fights. Had a Walkman (remember those?) stolen out of my backpack.
Aside from that, it wasn't so bad. I had some awesome friends, had some great times, went to some crazy parties. The first two years were pretty awkward, but once I settled in, I had a blast.

Well lets see, there was the time I flunked a class because I was too busy putting my head down and trying not to make myself a target for the kid that sat behind me. Whenever I see people whispering to eachother, I always think its about me. For about three years after I graduated, I was a huge douche to EVERYONE because it was goddamn payback time.
f*** high school and everything about it.

High school wasn't so bad for me. Junior high was the worst. I had no friends, got picked on constantly, and became so depressed I tried to commit suicide. Thankfully my mom pulled me out and homeschooled me for two years and then I went to a different high school and had a pretty darn good time.

My school was pretty good. The only real issues were a few teachers that lost any interest and the fact that it was getting over crowded. Oh, and our cross town rival had a newer school. Senior year, their air conditioning went down so they sent everyone home. We never had air conditioning which was annoying enough, but despite it still being insanely hot in our school we had to stay there. So we held a protest and refused to do any work for the day.
Luckily, though I graduated when I did (2001.) My sister had to deal with all the post 9/11 stuff and even more crowded conditions. Then again, she's happy she graduated when she did as after that they were sending kids to trailers for classes.
Now, they're in the midst of combining the cross town rival school with ours as guess what... they finally got around to redoing our school. The stupidest thing i the new school they're building wasn't designed for all those students. They plan to use the school I had with the new one which is still easily going to be overcrowded on top of security issues now as kids are going to be moving from one building to the other.

My last year of high school was good, but all through I never made much of an effort with girls, which I wouldve changed looking back.
Plus, my school was just full of chavs.

The worst thing about high school is being one of the people who are mature enough to realize how silly it all is. I had a great time in college; high school, not so much.
That said, I'm so[/b][/u] glad I went to high school before the rise of social networks, cell phones, etc.

To be considered "cool" you'd have to do no schoolwork, skip as much class as possible, and in general be as apathetic as possible.
I really couldn't stand any of the assgoofs there and I'm just glad it's over and I never have to experience it again.

Everything.
I was so miserable there. Dropping out was the best thing I've ever done because I'm so much happier now than I was then.

I ruined my youth by being a narcissistic, self entitled, self important douche. Had no friends (never really tried, stayed in my room), was very superficial, didn't have compassion for other people's feelings, hated everyone for no reason, was just a hateful person in general and thought I knew everything. I'd built up this idea that I'd be "famous" and that "I'd show them" and pissed away my GPA, laughing at the people considering realistic jobs.
The actual school wasn't that bad, sure there were some obnoxious jerks, but most of the people there were just well meaning, nice people, as nice as teens could be. Work was boring but work is boring for everyone. Oddly enough, I focused on myself so much at that time that I have no idea how the actual school was. The worst thing that I remember about the school was that some of the kids would treat the foreign math teachers like trash, regardless of what they tried discipline wise. Were set on not giving them one ounce of respect right out of the gate. If only I had the guts back then I would've said something.

I was still in the "emotional support" wing of my school. For those who are thinking, "Oh, special education, okay!", it's different than that. Although, it's pretty much special education for kids who are ADD/ADHD/bipolar/etc. I mean, it was fine and all, I had a few extra perks that other kids didn't have...got to use some of my notes during tests. Actually, compared to most of the students, you could say I was their role model, because I was one of the few, if not the only one, that had all his classes outside of the program. I wouldn't call myself that, because by being in the program, it was difficult for me to get into any programs, which is why I have the same yearbook info that Homer Simpson has. Although, I wish I put his quote of "I can't believe I ate the whole thing..."
Didn't matter though, because I was still labeled as such. And being labeled that isn't really a good thing. Plus, even though I had classes outside the program, they were mostly with the weakest set of students, so all of my classes was like going through the "inner city high school" movie genre. And yep...I was an easy target.
Junior year was okay. Senior year on the other hand...good god. Senior year is supposed to be the time to celebrate. Not when you go through your first breakup. And me being me...that took a LONG time to get through, trust me. By the end of the year, I just wanted out. And I did.
Do I miss it? Some days. Oh well...good riddance.

High school was so horrible. My school like most others had cliques and I was not apart of the important ones. I had ideas of what I wanted to do in school, but the counsellors had no interest in helping me. I did ask multiple times, and they blew me off. I had some personal issues (parents divorce, being tossed between them and shunned by my family) so I started to act out. Which probably didn't help me either but no one seemed to care enough to help.

I like High School for the most part. I mean mostly I slept during classes but I like to hang out with my friends at lunch time and at gym class.
What I don't like is well during my Middle School year I had a bad rumor spread about me that I didn't like. Which put me off of school for the most part but I didn't let it bother me.

52 percent teen pregnancy. I began to worry about my class ranking percentage because so many people kept dropping out.
