What would you want if you were a superhero? Being a loner, or part of a superhero team? I would go with being on a team myself.
Oh, and if same thing applies if you want to be a villain. Part of a team, yay or nay?

Yes! Because then I can spread the blame around if I accidentally cause some sort of catastrophe with my powers Plus, teams always go off against the biggestm baddest and most fun supervillains like Doom and the Skrulls instead of fighting clowns like Stilt-Man.

I'd do it part-time when the situation called for it. I'd prefer to work alone on a typical day, though. So basically like every member of the Avengers.

I'd rather be on a team. Having help is always nice, and having help in the form of a scantily clad female hero or two is even better.

Loner because it just wouldnt be my whole life and freaking job, I would just help people from time to time but it woulddnt be my calling regardless of how powerful I was.
"With great power comes great responsibility" my ass.

I'd be careful of what team I joined, in terms of people I can get along with, but being a loner just has "bad idea" written all over it to me.

I'd go part time. I like teams when they are self sponsored, like X-men, but when they start to become government stooges (like the Avengers have been lately with SHIELD or even the JLA with various government groups) I kinda shy away. I want to protect all people of the world, and not have to take flak from some doofus because I flew into China to save people from a monster or natural disaster or something.

I'd be a part-timer, as at times I just like to be on my own. Say like Wolverine for example.

I think I'd want a sidekick, at least. Or maybe I'd be the sidekick? Is that the job for the short, not so tough one? Definitely a sidekick.

I'd be going the solo route as I'd be looking to stop robberies and other street level crimes, not some Multi-Thoraxed-Quasi-Dimensional-Ice-Manipulating Walrus Demon.
Having said that if they need my aid then I would be available, so like Daredevil and the avengers early on.

Solo, if I "accidentally" blow up a bank with my superpowers and happen to grab the money and disappear with it, I don't want anyone else knowing I had anything to do with it.
...on second thought I don't think I'd even make a very good superhero.

See this is what pisses me off about you super-hero types... always so prejudiced against super-villains. I'll just be walking down the road NOT maiming anyone and NOT robbing any banks but NOOOOO you guys in your colorful spandex have to fly up and start trying to "avenge" some "innocent" (seriously did you do a background check on her corpse? She could have been ripping tags off of mattresses for all you know) female bystander who happened to get in the way during our LAST fight, which by the way I didn't start either. There needs to be government regulation on this sort of harassment.

If my powers by and large frightened people, I'd join the superhero team, if only to let innocent people know I wasn't out to do them any harm. Yes, I'm a goody two shoes.
