I loved Grunt, can't think of anything off the top of my head but I loved how he would say messed up things and still come off as funny.
I had no problem with Legion, who wasn't expecting it eventually? I though he was pretty badass.

Legion was fantastic, and easily one of the best portrayals of a hive intelligence ever.
Grunt wasn't as awesome as Wrex, but he had his moments. "You're soft, Shepard. My fingers's length in your back and i can sever your spine. You're just like the Salarians and Asari, all soft. Turians and Quarians, they're tougher. It takes more to get through a Turian, but there really isn't much point. [Chuckles] "Much point." Ah, never mind.

I'm technologically inept, so excuse the following ignorant question. If I go to my friend's crib and put my hard drive in his Xbox (In the literal way. Not the sexual innuendo way) and download DLC off of Xbox Live and save onto my hard drive, it will still be on there won't it? Like I can take it home and play it in my XBox normally right? I'm sorry, but I'm like a caveman sometimes. If you're connected to LIVE at your box, then yes. Otherwise no, because while the DLC is on your harddrive, it registers what console it was downloaded on. I had the same issue when taking my harddrive full of Rock Band over to a friend's house who didn't have LIVE connectivity.

No kidding on the Mass Effect games. Seriously, they have moved into my top ALL TIME games. I love the depth, story and so many different ways the game can play out. Random Mass Effect 2 question (I bought all DLC, including useless alternative Jack costume) but am I the only one who liked Grunt and Legion? It seems like the fan base wanted Wrex back (which would of been cool) and didn't like a Geth being introduced in to the group. I like Grunt and Legion. As already said, Grunt has some great lines. The only two characters in ME2 with better lines are Mordin and FemShep(I know she has more or less the same lines as DudeShep, but Jennifer Hale's voice work makes FemShep's lines much, much, MUCH better). As for Legion, I don't hate him. Hell, even in ME1 I never hated the Geth. Why? Because Saren and Sovereign were just using them. They weren't really bad and Legion proved it.

I'm thinking of downloading Lair of The Shadow Broker, is it any good? Yeah. Pretty short (takes a couple of hours to finish), but still good. Also, when you beat it you get access to some cool stuff. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I bought Saints Row 1 again... and I have to say that even though it's still playable enough, the past four years really haven't been very kind to it and it's not worth going back to the first one after playing Saints Row 2. Hell, SR1 doesn't even have ninjas dancing to Hall & Oates (see avatar - I'm now thoroughly convinced that Saints Row 2 is the best sandbox game ever), and that alone makes it at least ten times worse than the sequel! The lack of checkpoints during missions is also extremely annoying, especially because some of those missions are really f***ing long and hard and the main character can't take all that many bullets compared to SR2. I guess he didn't have all those cybernetic augmentations and other improvements that the Lazarus Project gave him during those years on the operating table... wait, wrong series. And I swear, if my copy of Deadly Premonition doesn't arrive by Friday I'll... be slightly annoyed.

MS' announcements at their CES Keynote has been, well, kinda lame so far, but then again that's the whole point, CES is a tech show, not a game show, so there wouldn't be much in the way of games. In fact, all the games MS announced so far at CES were for the Windows Phone 7, the biggest of these titles being Fable Coin Golf.
But they did make two interesting announcements regarding Kinect coming this spring.
First thing is Avatar Kinect, which is basically a visual real time chat service where you of course need Kinect, what it does is allows you to chat with other whilst everyone is their Avatar, and it tracks a LOT of things, for example, it, in real time tracks your mouth and eyebrow movements, so your Avatar is talking when you are talking. It comes this spring and is free for those with Live Gold.
The second thing, and the more cooler thing, is also coming this spring, we will be able to use Kinect to control Hulu AND Netflix! Finally! Whooo!
Oh, and here is Avatar Kinect in action.

I liked Legion's concept but since my Shep was a sniper already I really didn't have a use for him on my team. But Grunt was cool too I especially like both of their files in the shadow broker dlc

Inspired by the ongoing Something Awful Let's Play of Stuntman for the PS2 (some videos contain a bit of language, because this is Stuntman), I picked up Stuntman: Ignition. The original has the dubious honor of being by far the hardest and most frustrating game I have ever played from beginning to end (dear GOD that final level was hard as f***, must have taken me at least 400 attempts to complete successfully), and since I heard the sequel was nearly as sadistic I decided to give it a shot. I must say that Ignition definitely starts with a bang compared to its predecessor - while in the original you started out doing stunt work for some low-budget British gangster flick (and drove relatively slow cars in those first scenes to somewhat ease you into the whole experience), Ignition puts you right in the middle of a disaster movie... complete with a f***ing river of lava (yes, they decided to bring real lava onto the set, no CGI here... these film producers are hardcore) and hellfire and brimstone and mangled cars flying all over the place. And you're driving what appears to be a Corvette. Really damn fast, too, so you don't really get much time to get your bearings. And yes, it's still really freaking hard. It's more forgiving than the original in a couple of ways such as the "five strikes" system and the fact that every piece of level geometry and the physics engine are no longer trying to kill you in every turn. This means it's quite easy to get through a scene without all that much pain and suffering. However, if you want to get five stars from all these scenes... welcome to hell, and good luck. I already like this game. Also... Is it just me or does the boss in Saints Row 2 kinda look like Chris Jericho? You mean Dane Vogel, the main Ultor guy? Yeah, he kinda does, and I suppose the Boss (the player character is called "the Boss" in the game, so I was confused there for a moment) can look like Jericho too if you want. Speaking of Saints Row 2, I just learned to ride a motorcycle up walls: And I created a fairly decent Dr. Insano:

Quite a bit of sales coming up on XBox Live according to Major Nelson...
January 11-17 will feature savings up to 50 percent of various Activision offerings. CoD maps, GH add-ons and even arcade games.
Not to be outdone the 18th through 25th will feature EA content. No word on what exactly, though.
Also on the 10th is Zombie Week for DotW Zombie Apocalypse - 400 MS The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai - 400 MS Zombie Avatar Prop - 160 MS
then on the 17th it'll be Plants vs. Zombies for 800 MS.
Zeit2 hits the arcade for 800 MS on the 12th
and on the 13th the new Avatar offerings will be "Dinosaur Pets" and "XBox 360 Gear".
So um... they're gonna charge us to shill their brand?
Hopefully these Activision/EA deals are good.
EDIT: Oh, and amazon's deal of the day is Prince of Persia: TFS for $8.99.

Sweet holy F***, Stuntman Ignition got hard all of a sudden. I five-starred three of the first four scenes in Aftershock with relative ease, but the last couple of scenes are a complete bitch to even get through, let alone try and string together a five-star run. Trying to hit all the incidental stunts to keep your combo going is ridiculously tough, especially since you often won't have time to prepare for the next director stunt as you're drifting all over the place.
I just barely managed to finish the last scene, I had four strikes for whatever reason (yes, Stuntman Ignition, feel free to completely ignore anything I do if I don't hit a stunt marker the 100% exact way you want me to) and somehow completed the final stunt jump by coming off the ramp sideways and landing in the middle of some trees. ;D
EDIT: And I still didn't get Deadly Premonition in the friggin' mail! This is bullshit!

Ah right, it's just that I was watching my little cousin on it the other day and I was like... {Spoiler}Holy Crap! He just shot Y2J in the face! I wasn't sure if he was the final boss or whatever. Anyways, I've just traded in Red Dead Redemption, I got bored. So I got the collectors edition of Dragon Age: Origins, I lost my original and I'm gearing myself up for the new one. ALSO, I downloaded Lair of the Shadow Broker and Imma gonna give it a go tonight !! I screwed up the quotes, sue me.
