Out of those choices, it is the smoking skull, but the best is the World Heavyweight Champinship, aka Big Goldie!

Out of those choices, it is the smoking skull, but the best is the World Heavyweight Champinship, aka Big Goldie! Agreed. I like the Undisputed/non-Cena WWE Title but Austin's Smoking Skull belt was awesome looking and could have worked well for all during the attitude era. However the World Heavweight Title is the best of all time.

Anything after the attitude belt sucks. I hate that giant belt that Lesner, Hogan, Angle, etc used.

The one from 86-87 was AWESOME when they created the gIGANTIC version for andre it looked even cooler around Hulk's waist.
The Eagle (why do people say WINGED EAGLE, we already know eagles have wings)...is cool too.
Though it's still around (in pieces) in that Hardcore title.
The Huge ass Attitude era title also kicked ass.
I still think we should have stayed with the WCW/WWF double belt.

The Eagle (why do people say WINGED EAGLE, we already know eagles have wings)...is cool too. Though it's still around (in pieces) in that Hardcore title. why did they do that? did they say "we need a hardcore belt, lets smash up one of the old ones!"?

As far as I know, there's at least one version of the Winged Eagle belt still at WWE headquarters...
oh, and as for the poster above me, storyline-wise, they brought in a new belt as the World Heavyweight Title and Vinny Mac gave the Hardcore belt to Mankind... Also, here's the story from Wikipedia on where the broken up belt came from...
# The original WWE Hardcore Championship belt itself was originally used as the WWF Championship in an angle between Hulk Hogan and Mr. Perfect. On an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event, Hennig and The Genius attacked Hogan and stole his belt. When the show came back from the commercial break, it cut to a shot of Hennig using a hammer to smash the belt, breaking the gold plates. Unknown to wrestling fans, this belt was a replica of the actual belt. When the WWF decided to create the Hardcore Championship, they took the smashed-up replica WWF Championship belt, and tape was applied on various spots of the belt with the largest piece across the center having the word 'HARDCORE' written on it.

I love the eagle belt. I started watching around the time when Bret Hart carried that belt and he was an amazing champion who brought dignity and prestige to the belt. So everytime I see that belt, it remembers me of the honor and dignity that Hart gave the championship. That belt really stands for something. Unlike Austin's belt, which was just a prop he sort of carried and threw around.

The Undisputed title ruled. Also, going old school here, in videos I have seen, I really loved the design of the title the Iron Shiek won from Backlund, it was sweet.

I only liked the eagle. I was devastated when they changed it after a 10 year run as the top prize in the company. It's like getting rid of the Stanley Cup for a plaque or something.
