All time? Bill Hicks, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, and Richard Pryor. Couldn't tell ya the order though.
Runners Up: Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg, and Emo Phillips.

Stewart Lee, Bill Bailey, Tim Minchin, Lee Mack, Tim Vine, Mark Steel, Mark Thomas.
A few of them veer off slightly from stand up comedy, with Thomas being more political, and Minchin more musical, but... Close enough.

Two of my favorite bits of all time, along with the "Hi Mom" bit.

All time? Bill Hicks, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, and Richard Pryor. Couldn't tell ya the order though. Runners Up: Steven Wright, Mitch Hedberg, and Emo Phillips. Oh, forgot one: Eddie Izzard. Still have yet to see his last two stand up performances though.

Bill Hicks is by far my favourite. George Carlin is high up there as well. David Cross cracks me up, and Patton Oswalt can be funny, although I find some of his mannerisms obnoxious at times.
I can't deny that Chris Rock has done some incredible bits, the quality of his comedy is inconsistent.

I generally can't stand comedians. Mitch Hedberg was great, though.
