Directed by Takashi Miike?
From Destructoid:
I'm SO there! Miike has done some lighthearted movies like Yattaman so I think he'll probably be faithful to the franchise. But still, the prospect of Phoenix Wright getting testimonials from witnesses by suspending them from hooks and pouring tempura oil on their flesh sounds pretty awesome.

Read this on Kotaku yesterday.
Miike's movies are some of the weirdest I've ever seen, but I don't care, I might be finally getting my Phoenix Wright film.

If the plot is based on the third game, Korean pop star Rain would make a pretty convincing Godot.

I would absolutely love for this movie to be a success, and we then get a whole series based off the more epic cases in the games.
......a man can dream.

I've been meaning to look up some songs from the musicals for awhile, so guess this is another thing to keep an eye on.

Found these on Kotaku, apparently photos from the set... Interesting, but nothing that really lets us know any further if this is gonna be an Ace Attorney movie or not, but then! Look at the poster at the bottom of this picture.... That's all I need! Ace Attorney movie is on!

He has the looks of Andre the Giant, and the strength of Barry Windham. Not to mention he's a hero to a few armadillos, a kangaroo and a small herd of bison.

Seems like the events around the DL-6 Incident to me.
I'll be there on opening night.

Yeah those shots do look a lot like the lake area from the first game, well if you're going to start somewhere it's best to do it with one of the best story arcs in the series. Hopefully they'll cast someone with a seriously scary voice for Von Kharma, looks are important but you can't do the character true justice with out being able to say objection! in the most demonic way possible.

I've got a young Gumshoe costume, but I mostly have that because I found a tan trenchcoat that fits me.
