Post 1 or more good things that happened to you today
1) My May Previews order from Midtown Comics arrived so I FINALLY got to read Flashpoint #1. And to show how much I order, the post office shipping sticker on the front said that the box weighed 18 lbs.....
2) ANOTHER free concert series got announced (not bumping that thread yet again, though) and Our Lady Peace will be giving us a free show for the 3rd year in a row. This news just totally made my day. I was bummed that they weren't playing this summer because of recording a new album but out of nowhere......

I read some interesting speculation about the future of Sylvanas and the Forsaken in Warchraft.
My hands don't hurt terribly, i was able to play a little GTa and wow without too much pain.

My training for my job begins Wednesday.
Kabal and Stryker kick major ass as a tag team on Mortal Kombat 9. (Hell, I think I'm the only Kabal player online)
I'm part of Team Rocket now.

Going home from work and the day's just starting. It's dark out at 5AM but it's gets brighter after a few minutes. Something about that makes me happy for some reason.

I finally found a clip of a guy from Smoky Mountain Wrestling on Youtube. I've been telling friends about the guy forever and could never find a clip to show them. Now I can.
Other than that, today hasn't really sucked, I'm just feeling a culmination of girl trouble and the fact that I haven't really done anything since Monday. I'd like to get out and do something, but around here, there's not much to do, and pretty much nothing by this hour.
But I guess that last part wasn't exactly positive....

-Got floor tickets to Pearl Jam's 20th Anniversary Tour today. Saw them from the nosebleeds in '05, and still consider it the best concert I've ever been to so I'm psyched as hell to have floor seats this time! -After work tonight I have the weekend off and I'm making the trip to Winnipeg to see U2 this weekend. One of my favourite bands and this is my first chance to see them live This one is more of a week+ building but it's awesome none the less: -Paperwork has been filed to sell my house, enabling me to make a serious offer on a new place in my hometown. So incredibly excited to be moving back, and the house we're (hopefully) buying is beautiful and I fell in love with it immediately. It's exactly what I want for when me and Mrs. Muskrat start a family Oh, and to the OP I'm so jealous you get to see OLP 3 years in a row!!! I've been a huge fan since Clumsy came out, have all their albums and only just got to see them for the first time in '09. You're a lucky bastard

1. I was able to sit in a very important meeting today. That's good news for me. 2. I finally found the name of this song that's been obsessing me for a year now. HOORAY!

You're a lucky bastard I actually saw them twice last year. This is their 3rd year in a row playing for FREE. I also saw them play "Clumsy" in its entirety followed by a 2nd set where they played their other hits in a small theatre where it's usually small local theatre plays and stuff. I considered going the next night when they did "Spiritual Machines" but one of my favorite rap groups (Jedi Mind Tricks) were playing that night and I had never seen them live

Now I really hate you I wanted to go to the Clumsy and Spiritual double shot in Wpg but just didn't have the cash at the time. I'd go see them again in a heartbeat

My best friend is coming home from Basic Training today. Unfortunately, the story behind it isn't all that positive. He suffered a sprained ankle which originally wasn't supposed to be serious, but they wanted to cram a month's worth of physical therapy into a week. They decided that it was a persistent injury that probably wouldn't heal there so they sent him home. We don't know if he has to go back or if he has the option of not going back, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't. His wife has been miserable and, according to her, so has he and he's not one to show a lot of emotion either so it must be really getting to him. Either way, it's still nice to have him back home. Things just haven't been the same around here without him.
Also, I'm still kinda riding a high from my last Open Mic comedy set a couple nights ago. The set itself wasn't all that great but I made some new contacts and got to hang out with some of my comic friends afterwards, which was even more fun. I'm starting to get the hang of this stand-up comedy stuff and thinking I can actually do it. And even if I don't make a career of it or anything, it's still better than staying cooped up in my bedroom.

I had a great time laughing over the Nostalgia Critic reviews for The Care Bears Movies, Captain N, Super Mario Brothers Super Show etc..
Never saw one of them and I might have become a fan of this guy.
