So, instead of gettin' some newer(ish) guys more up there to the main event level, they're maybe bringing back these two for awhile? And possibly Triple H?
Eh. Not thrilled.
EDIT: I just want to clarify that by newer(ish) guys, I don't mean dragging in more new people. I mean working on getting the ones that we don't really see in main events as much up to that level, midcarders, etc.

maybe Diesel can be Tyson Kidds new body guard we saw how well the last one went over and booker is just comedy TELL ME...you didn't just say that. I did just say that it can't be the worst thing the WWE has booked recently

Kevin Nash signed a short term deal, but they are open to doing more business with him. TV is being rewritten today, and their roles on tonight's show should show if they have any serious plans with them going forward. I bet Nash is loving this. After last night, he can practically write his own check.

Diesel beats Miz for the world title.
Bookerdust reforms and wins the tag titles.
I care about WWE again.
(So, yeah, that wont happen)

With revenues way down and 'Mania time here, the already established names draw your money while your new guys get some undercard exposure ready for a future time. As awesome as it would be to see Morrison and Miz for the title or whatever, that simply isnt going to make as much money as the big name guys. If reaction last night is anything to go buy, then NASH and Booker both have money to give, money WWE needs to generate else all the new guys and up and comers are screwed come spring cleaning time.

I think we should have them as a commentary team.
As for Booker T being a manager, great news, hell, even if it's awhile away. If they have him around as a wrestler, they have a ready made main eventer to help build the roster, and down the line, you have a guy with an incredible gift of gab, and he proves that when he's gets behind the announce table.
As for Nash, I think short term plans would be a good idea. Nash can't go much longer, but something short term for Wrestlemania, there's no harm in that. Plus, again, you have an interesting commentator in Nash.

I'm more interested in Nash than Booker at this moment. Still I wish they had brought in Nash instead of the Diesel moniker.

I really hope the retcon that out tonight, and have Nash say he did that just for fun. I thought it was really dumb how they never once referenced Kevin Nash, nWo, WCW, The Outsiders etc. last night while he was in the ring

I don't mind these guys being used for a bit...as long as it's for a little bit.
We've already got TNA as the old folks retirement home, we don't need WWE being another one that forgets to build stars for the sake of nostalgia without realizing it's not a reliable business plan. But again, this is WWE so hopefully their smarter than that.

Booker T should get a run on Smack Down they are starved for a little star talent. Nash on the other hand is weird I think that he should be put in an upper mid card feud on Raw.
