I saw this on another forum that didn't list a source, so take this with a grain of salt. EDIT: I've since seen this on 411Mania
-- During the rumble match, while Kevin Nash was down, one of the referees spoke with him briefly. After he was eliminated, he did the stare down with The Big Show. This may have been an audible from backstage, due to him being so over. It's possible they may have been trying to plant the seeds for something down the line.
-- There was a ton of talk internally about the reactions that Booker T and Kevin Nash got at last night's show. They had two of the biggest pops of the night.
-- Booker T signed a long-term deal as noted earlier, but it was planned that he would be a manager who did some wrestling and coaching. But due to his reaction last night and the fact that he can still go, he may get a longer in-ring run. There was talk about programming him with some main event level guys after last night.
-- Kevin Nash signed a short term deal, but they are open to doing more business with him. TV is being rewritten today, and their roles on tonight's show should show if they have any serious plans with them going forward.

I have no real issue with either sticking around.
Booker is fine for what he is, although he does get boring pretty fast. His King gimmick saved his last run for me.
Nash should stick around through WM. He may as well, he's still HUGELY OVER and an exhibition throw away match at WM with Show would be fun for the live crowd and the nostalgia feel. As long as he stays away from titles and doesnt squash anyone that matters, I'm cool with him.
But then I watch WWE for storylines and characters, not wrestling ability. Others may be annoyed if Nash especially sticks about because he's clearly pretty worn down ability wise.

Would love it if Nash was a Trainer on TE, I liked him in a mentor role in TNA and I think it would be a nice plus with Steve Austin

Meh, I liked it better when it was just a one time thing.
Hopefully Nash stays out of the ring though. He'd be a great manager.
Booker T meh

I'd quite like Diesel to be either an enforcer for an up and coming heel (Like Ziggler) or, take a young up and coming face under his wing as an apprentice/tag team partner.
Each would limit his in-ring time and, help to get a younger talent over whilst making for quite a fun little angle.
He'd actually be quite good as the final member of The Corre as the secret weapon against The Big Show.
Booker I honestly couldn't care less about unless he reforms Bookdust.

Booker T has still got it, and I'm looking forward to even the slightest chance of him wrestling for the WWE in any capacity.
Diesel...he does not need to be in the ring.

Booker T/Diesel were the best thing about the rumble last night for me (Sorry ADR) Crowd went nuts for both of them, it was awesome.

Booker as a manager would be excellent.
He HAS to stay around long enough for Goldust to return. Has to.

Although I'm one of those who like Booker T more when he's simply Booker T rather than King Booker and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have marked nearly as hard as I did last night had he returned with that gimmick. I'm more than fine with Nash too, because like you, the storylines and characters keep me sucked into wrestling, not the technical side of it.

I'm perfectly fine with both a short term Diesel run(and long term if he really makes it work) and a long term run for Booker. I'm really pulling for Booker T to be the Chris Jericho of 2011 where he is finally recognized as the star he is and is pushed as so with no strings attached. He's too damn good to come back after all this time and flutter around the midcard. Dude's a main eventer, period.

I don't mind them staying, but I DON'T want Nash wrestling. Booker T is okay, he seemed to have it still in him.

I think they should both be kept at least through WrestleMania to help with the shows star power.
I really wish Shawn would have been around to have some interaction with Diesel.
