I miss this spot and it always got the crowd into it. Why does it never get used any more. It would be perfect for Santino to bring back.

Y'know, I don't know.
I used to love the spot when I was a kid. It would really work for someone like Cena, Morrison, or Bryan.

I read this as 'the cornbuckle' and wondered if it was a really old dance from the 20s or 30s

I love this spot too and also miss the old dropping of the arm during submission holds instead of the taping out...I liked the drama of the guy being knocked out over the pain

Getting the obvious joke out of the way...
WWE's target audience can't count to ten.

I bet you see this spot more on house shows now.

Doesn't Kofi usually have a 10 count corner punch, following his standing bronco buster thing?
Or has he stopped doing that <_< >_>

I know I remember R-Truth doing it in a match against Del Rio, on Raw I think.

Kayfabe: it got reversed into an inverted atomic drop too many times and guys stopped doing it.

I miss that move. I also miss the spot when a guy would ram his opponents head into a turnbuckle 9 times and then ran and drag him by the head and ram his head into another turnbuckle for the tenth one.

I always thought they should give someone an OCD gimmick where they have to do everything perfectly. Like, they would re-do their entrance over and over. And completely freak out if someone interrupted their ten punch routine.

And completely freak out if someone interrupted their ten punch routine. When he first jumped to SmackDown they did routinely say on commentary Dolph Ziggler was OCD. If only they'd gone that route with it.

Getting the obvious joke out of the way... WWE's target audience can't count to ten. Which makes ECW fans even smarter, as they could count to ten in Spanish.

I think it was Kane who would get on the turnbuckle and start throwing punches like crazy, only for the crowd to try their hardest to catch up counting

When Kofi does the turnbuckle punches he never seems to get to ten and when anyone else does it, its usually reversed before 10. At least I noticed that recently but I don't usually watch PPVs so I might have missed something.
