We've all heard that Bradshaw has a habit of being a bully to everyone backstage, but is there anyone he's never even attempted to mess with?
I can see him being smart enough to avoid guys like Kozlov, Santino, Angle, Shamrock, and Brock, just because they all come from come from martial arts backgrounds and would have pounded him silly.
Anyone know of a Jericho/Goldberg type situation where Bradshaw got his ass handed to him by someone you'd never expect?

If anyone with their "martial arts backgrounds" attempted to attack him he would lariat them then prepare the soap.

Didnt Steve Blackman kick JBL out at an airport when he tried to tease him? I doubt bradshaw hazed any of the big name talent, and no doubt picked on the lower card, smaller guys.

Angle and Brock would have ragdolled him. Shamrock/Kozlov/Santino would probably tie him in knots. Shamrock was a multiple time king of pancrase, Kozlov is a very accomplished Sambo practitioner, and Santino has a black belt in Judo, I believe. Not to mention there was that time he was KTFO by Blackman.

He tried to soap me up, and I was just in the audience!

JBL never went after anyone that wasn't smaller than and that he perceived to be "weaker" than him. Joey Styles was what about 5' 8" and maybe 160 lbs soaking wet? It takes a real man to go after someone who's almost half your size.
I wish JBL had taken the challenge that Tracy Smothers made after JBL had roughed up the Meanie but that never happened because Smothers has the rep of being legit tough and would have handed him his ass on a platter.

I seem to recall Bradshaw doing quite well in the Brawl for All Tournament. He might be a bully, but he is at least a tough guy as well.

I mean, obviously you couldn't have the big names in it because of the injury chance, but what in the hell was up with those rules? A Dan Severn takedown isn't clean, even though he was probably the one with the most amateur wrestling accolades in the WWF at the time? I'll give Bradshaw that, though. He's a tough bastard.

He made it to the finals, but Bart Gunn knocked him out in 1-2 punches. Seriously, watch the knockout punch in slow motion. You can practically see his eyes roll back into his head as he wobbles down.

It was a voluntary thing, so only the guys who thought they were tough put their names down.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again. JBL is an Asshole. pretty much this, in a nutshell. he's a smart asshole, though. Knows not to mess with HHH, Cena, Taker, etc. for fear of his job.

Speaking of JBL. I remember a story years ago when Lance Storm was a trainer for the E. It seems he told the students about not listening and doing anything JBL tells them. JBL found out and when Storm was backstage he tired to start a fight with him but, Storm wouldn't have any of it and just walked away. With JBL calling him chicken.
A few weeks later Storm left the fed. I don't know if that had anything to do with that. Anyone else remember this story?

So basically the whole JBL thing wasn't a gimmick after all?

The way he told it, what happened was that he warned the guys in OVW about a few superstars on the main roster who they needed to watch out for. He mentioned JBL by name, and possibly a few others. The rest of the story went down pretty much as you described, although Storm only left after his contract was up. I doubt JBL scared him away.

it sounds like JBL was basically the WWE's version of Stan Hansen. Stiff as hell and a reputation for being hard to get along with.

For some reason Storm looks like he could legitimately beat the stuffing out of people, so yeah, going with this.
