Now R-Truth is using it as his finisher, beating Tyson Kidd with it on Superstars this week.
That's 4 people who have used that move in the last year as their finisher (the others being Shelton Benjamin, MVP and Heath Slater). The sad thing is, except for Slater, they all had/have other signature moves that would be great finishers.
Benjamin - T-Bone Powerslam (from his 2004-2005 face push) MVP - Player's Boot, Drive-By Kick R-Truth - Spinning Scissor Kick, Osaka Street Cutter

Wow, that's worse than the Overdrive getting overused.

That never ends well for the black superstars If Kofi ever used that (not that he ever will) I would cry

Didn't he used a Vertical Suplex Stunner as a finisher for a little while? That move isn't very common to see and it looks credible enough to be a finisher. Keep Truth with that move as his finisher since people will get confused about how many people uses the same move and nobody calls them on that.

I thought that WAS the Osaka Street Cutter, but I realised just now that is an Inverted Vertical Suplex Stunner, isn't it?

I don't know why Truth is using it now. Slater's using it and he is still employed. Isn't it why Slater dropped Sweetness, because it looked too much like Ziggler's Zig Zag?
It's disappointing to see it being "whored around". I'd rather him just use his scissors kick as a finisher (heck, I'll even take the Lie Detector over the JCS at this point). Truth or Consequences would make a nice finisher for him, too.

Yeah I don't get it. R-Truth has a bunch of good other moves he could be using. That suplex stunner is great.

The only good thing about this is that he isn't using the Lie Detector anymore.

The only good thing about this is that he isn't using the Lie Detector anymore. That's what I'm saying. Now if only they would turn him heel so he'd stop rapping and dancing, I might actually like him.

Why do the WWE love this move so much anyway?
I've always thought it looked kinda shitty. Heath's version is is okay though.

Husky Harris is also using a variant of the Complete Shot. WWE needs to force their employees to watch Indy/Puro wrestling just so that they can learn new moves.
