I know this is more of a TNA thing to do, but there have to be some WWE ones - what are some instances you can think of with heels and faces getting along? And not just in the Nexus feud style, "We'll work with Cena to beat them, but we still hate him too," sense.
Offhand, there's the backstage chat between Edge and Christian at Backlash 2009. Not like they were outright friendly to each other in that segment, but they were pretty civil about it.

No necessarily friendly, but they had Mike Knox saying he had no ill will towards Rey Mysterio. He just was compelled to beat the crap out of him.

Although it was temporary, WWE vs. Nexus. At some point every heel and every face on raw got along great, albeit for a short time.

Would MVP and Matt Hardy for a little bit count? Definitely. MVP may have been buddying up with Matt to save his own ass, but there were times where he seemed to be legit about it. Or at least his greed & desire to have two titles at once outweighed his animosity against Hardy.

For basically the past ten years, Taker and Kane don't really seem to have any problem with each other unless the plot says so. Hell Kane went on a rampage and was beating the hell out of everyone in 2003, including innocent people (RVD, JR, Linda McMahon) and Taker didn't seem to give two s***s until Kane attacked him personally.

Kaval and Laycool. Why couldn't they have built on that after NXT?

IIRC, Triple H decided he could get along with the same guy who attacked his wife, chained him to the ropes and kissed his wife.
SRS Jericho never seemed to go out of his way to have any heat with any face he wasn't feuding with, at least not that I can recall -- except for Cena at Summerslam, but Cena deserved it.

Recently William Regal and Daniel Bryan, even though it's a real life respect it still counts since that rarely comes out on tv.

Eddie Guerrero and Batista before Eddie turned face. John Cena and Michael Cole as well. I find it funny the first thing Cena did after getting "fired" at Survivor Series was hugging Cole.

Yeah, I'm surprised too. I was hoping Taker would at least go to RAW to calm him down. Also, I remember at the end of Faarooq being in The Nation he helped Ken Shamrock get up, until The Rock (in)advertantally struck them with a chair.

There was a time when Owen Hart and British Bulldog were teaming, but Hart was a heel and Bulldog was a face, and the crowd cheered accordingly. They were doing the long time teammates having problems bit.

Drew McIntyre and Kelly Kelly.
CM Punk never really hated Kofi when he was doing commentary.

Monsoon and Ventura. Now granted, ventura was slightly more neutral with monsoon (he even supported piper at WM6, something he never did with mcmahon), but they still seemed like friends on camera, with monsoon and jesse only taking gentle jabs at one another (no WILL YOU STOP?! or Shut up McMahon here).
