So not really a Cena mark as just a face always win mark? Just making it clear. Cause really Cena NEVER was on the bad end of the Nexus feud he always beat up one or two of them every episode. it's what makes me apathetic to him, he'll not only never lose but never be in jeopardy or even have his feelings hurt. A hero is only as good as his villains and WWE makes all of Cena's villains seem pathetic. He got the crap kicked out of him several times, lost several matches to Nexus members and had to sit there and take it while Wade Barrett consistently talked down to and verbally abuse him, but you're right, Cena was never on the bad end of the feud. The beatdowns never seemed to do any permanent damage as he would bounce back next week all chipper, and the whole thrust of the angle of Cena joining Nexus and being FIRED if he didn't follow orders went out the window when every week Cena would bend the orders Barret gave him, sometimes completely breaking them, making the Nexus look like idiots, and THEN when he GOT fired he does a long drawn out goodbye, and pops back up soon as possible smiling and carrying on business as usual. So no he was never really on the bad end, for him to actually have been on the bad end would have been him FOLLOWING orders or giving Barret the title.

All Cena accomplished last night was proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that CM Punk is RIGHT about him.
Just like he was right about Jeff Hardy.
Just like he was right about Rey Mysterio.

Likewise, when Cena beat up Nexus members, the only one who seemed to suffer permanent harm was Michael Tarver. Everyone else was right back out there doing what they do. You'd almost think that the fights were staged and it was a show they were putting on.
