Ok, so lets just ignore my last poll, and use this as the end all, be all.

With some of these stables mentioned, you know the stable is bad when all the focus is centered around the leader. Examples are SES, The Cabinet, La Familia, Legacy, etc. When all focus is on the leader, the others are nothing more than just lackeys.
The Cabinet wasn't a bad one, though nobody cared about OJ, even his US title reign was seen as an afterthought.
By the way, I voted for X-Factor, more because of that theme song. *Shudder* I have no problem with Waltman, Justin Credible, or Albert, but they could have had a better theme song, plus you know how bad a stable is when the stable is mostly on Heat.

For how much absurd prominence they were given in booking (Summerslam main event vs Warrior and Hogan? Really? Really?) I still gotta go with Slaughter/Adnan/Mustafa.

La Familia made me uninterested in EDGE, so I have to go with that.

Truth Commission, easily. What the hell were they even about? I know it was some kind of loose parody of some apartheid era South African organization, but other than that, I don't remember a single thing they ever did.

Sooooo many options...
I had to go with Los Boricuas, though. Savio Vega and... a bunch of guys nobody knew, including a guy who was really, really hairy. Okay. Even DOA had guys who were somewhat familiar to American indie fans and Apter mag readers (they LOVED Smoky Mountain) in Brian Lee and the Harris twins.
Some of these others I wouldn't really call stables, especially those that consisted of two wrestlers and a valet. In that way, I've always had a hard time seeing the original DX as a stable. Weren't they just a tag team with a bodyguard/valet/manager? Usually, they're crappy.
Honorable mention goes to the Million Dollar Corporation. A bunch of go-nowhere midcarders and... Nikolai Volkoff?

Going with Angle with Luther Reigns and Mark Jindrak. Can't even remember WHY they formed int he first place. Jindrak just got worse and worse after he was drafted to smackdown.

Not La Familia.

Yo! You dealin' with the X-Factor!
I got everything I ever wanted and I'll never give that back, well I know you hate X-Factor but you ain't gotta look at me like that, I said you ain't gotta look at me like that. . .
What a horrible song. What a horrible faction. I did like A-Train though, he was awesome.

I can't vote for X-Factor even though they were awful because for me, a stable is 4+ guys, so with them only being 3, I wouldn't call them a stable.
So for me, it's La Familia.

No One Cares Anymore DX. I HATED THEM. They were feuding with The Dudleyz at the time who were white hot but for some reason kept beating them. Despite how incredibly stale they were. Road Dogg even admitted that he and X-Pac threw a fit when they were supposed to lose to The Dudleyz at a PPV and got the outcome changed in a shoot interview. That makes me loathe them even more.
And just to make things more confusing, the team was X-PAC, the most hated person on the roster and Road Dogg who kept doing his same face intro speech. It sucked on so many different levels.

SES has to be there. They did NOTHING for Punk whatsoever. You had a women who wrestled once, and 2 guys who quite frankly added nothing to the group.
Evolution should be the template for a succesful heel stable.
Mentor/Legend Main Event Star Powerhouse Rising Star
All 4 guys came out smelling like roses, although it took Orton some time.

Who were the Cabinet and the Union? The Cabinet was JBL, Orlando Jordan, The Bashams and Jillian (more?), during his title reign in 04-05.

I didn't start watching regularly until about mid-'99 then stopped following WWE around the time Eddie Guerrero passed away only to start up again mid-'07 or so and stopped watching after the Benoit incident before starting up again last '09 so I missed some of these stables but of the ones listed looks like I'm going with the majority. The only thing I remember about X-Factor was a sea of purple, the odd choice of entrance theme and that time Albert as the IC champ and X-Pac as Light Heavyweight champ were ripping on Credible and gave him one of those foam toy WWF world titles. Not exactly an impressive resume. I mean at least the others I saw had, at the very least, a mid-card angle I can recall or an established main eventer involved.
