MVP went on a 20-match losing streak and his career was never the same.
Which wrestlers COULD have a 20-match losing streak and still maintain a great career.
I think:
Chris Jericho CM Punk Daniel Bryan Santino Marella

the 20 losing streak is NOT the fault that he never gone the same.
He got over actually as a face. But then the raw booking attacked
And Punk can survive maybe

Kane. It's not possible to give him a lame duck angle, I think creative has been trying for years.

Regal's pulled himself out of jobbing streaks, hasn't he?

It's only a losing streak if the commentators pay attention to it and scrutinize it.
If Hiro Matsuda loses 20 matches in a row, and Frank Caravalli loses five matches and have commentators mention hes in a rut, he will look weaker to the fans.
I always think the best, can lose 70% of the time as heels, and still have the majority despise them (Ric Flair, Jericho, Punk, etc.)

You realise how much moaning there would be if that happened? MVP created a fair bit and he is nowhere near the IWC darling Bryan is.

Bryan went to ten, but then if not for the fact that the return to the company was treated like a total reboot that probably would have killed him right out the gate.

If he were up to it, Trips could lose twenty times and nothing damaging to him would ever come of it.

He's probably close to having one anyway. And far from a great career.

Punk is probably the only one who could lose 20-30 in a row and not lose any heat.
Maybe if you gave some of the others mic time and really had them lay into the fans, someone else could do it too. I don't know.

I think The Miz could. I wouldn't want to see it, but I think he's a hot enough heel that he would survive it.

What's Sheamus' post-KotR streak up to? Not pretty. That's why I snickered when he started talking trash to Morrison on Monday. Sheamus is currently like 2-5 in his encounters with Morrison.
