As much as I am not digging this new Nexus, I feel like I dig The Corre a little more. However, I saw Tarver on Smackdown when I was watching the repeat of it on Mun2 last night. It's possible that he could have attacked Long. So do you think he will join? I wouldn't be surprised if more people join, even more former Nexus members. I wouldn't be surprised if when Skip returns, he jumps to Smackdown to join, but The Corre already has an enforcer in Big Zeke. What do you think?

I thought he'd show up back in The Nexus, as that seems to be for the guys in the group with a limited upside that could be used as disposable lackeys...
Tarver has a great look and underrated mic skills, but in ring he's not that much better than Otunga.

Anyone else read the title as The Circus?

The announcers failed to even mention him by name. I think he'll become a lower card face.

I hope not.
I like the Corre as it is, a group where each members are equal and each have credibility.
Adding Tarver will just look weird.
Barrett: Main evented 3 PPV's in 2010, pinned Cena a few times and Jericho. Gabriel: Held his own against Orton and Cena, beat Edge, pinned Cena Slater: Pinned Sheamus twice, Edge once, Jericho once. Ezekiel Jackson: Always booked strong, last ever ECW champion.
Then, Michael Tarver. A jobber who isn't all that good in the ring and was kicked out of Nexus for been a weak link. It kinda doesn't really fit in with the rest of The Corre.
Besides, I think Tarver will make a better face if the WWE go back to his family man type gimic he had on NXT.

Honestly, I see him joining Dolph and Vickie as her personal bodyguard or something.

Yeah, not a good way to remind fans who the guy even is. Not even acknowledging his presence.

Also, Barrett admitted that he was looking to kick Tarver out of Nexus. So why would he then let him join his new stable?

I was disappointed that his presence wasn't even acknowledged, but at the same time he was the only person in the room, so that still leaves hope for many of us that he will join. Perhaps the lack of acknowledgment was intentional as they wanted to sell the severity of Teddy Long's collapse by focusing solely on him.
I do agree about the point about him being weak compared to the Corre faction where everyone has been booked very strongly. It's always possible that he can re-join and be rebooted to look strong. They did it with Bryan.

I'm not sure why Tarver hasn't been given more. He's a good talker, he isn't THAT bad in the ring and he has a complete bad ass look. Just like him go out and maul people. I don't mean squashes, just very violent wins.
Or put him with Skip and have them murder everyone in sight.

Tarver/Sheffield could be the new Acolytes/APA. Violent, badass, monster heel tag teams help make a tag division. Gives something for the pretty boy teams or the comedic faces to play off of, something to overcome.

I don't see why not. Although I'd like him more as a guy playing a hired gun character with no moral worldview or reason to follow either side, good or bad.

Yeah, not a good way to remind fans who the guy even is. Not even acknowledging his presence. Sets him up perfectly actually. You arent given a reason to suspect he is the one who tookout Teddy, but for those who payed attention, he ws at the scene of the crime. Thus giving him the perfect setup to enter The Corre.

I honestly think Big Zeke got the spot meant for Tarver, since it would be New Nexus on Raw and all Original Nexus on Smackdown, possibly leading to some kind of match at WM. But creative/Vince wasn't high on Tarver at all, so they gave the role to someone they are high on, Ezekiel Jackson.
But yeah, I have no doubts that the Corre was meant to have Tarver.

Zeke has Sheffields role. Tarver brings presence to the group, not strength,. Tarver looks like a psychopath, but he is one of the smaller Nexus originals.

Isn't he supposed to be coming back soon? I'm wondering if he's going to be Raw or Smackdown, because that pretty much would determine which stable he winds up in, unless he pulls a DBD and opts for neither group. But even then, Wade was always good to Skip. Tarver has more of a reason to go after Wade than Skip Sheffield would. I'm intrigued.
