I was thinking about this earlier in another thread. Have any of you guys ever predicted something that seemed completely random but ended up happening later? Be it a character, angle, move, etc. I have two pretty freaky predictions, both of them were things that I came up with back in 1997 when I would have been no older than 10.
I remember seeing a match on Raw between HHH and Shawn Michaels in early-mid 1997 and thinking that the two looked very similar and would make an awesome tag team. A few months later DX was formed seemingly out of the blue and history was made.
Also around the same time period, but a little later I started really getting sucked into wrestling. I got my mom to buy two action figures for me. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Rocky Maivia since that's who Austin was feuding with at the time. Thing is, I had not actually seen Rocky wrestle very much and had no idea what moves he did or even what his finisher was. So I decided to come up with a finisher for Rocky so that he could win some of the matches too (I was a good booker lol). The move that I came up with was the "arm chokeslam" and was by complete accident. I thought it looked like a cool move though, low and behold that ended up being Rock's finisher and is one of the most popular finishers ever now. I know he used the move before I "came up with it" but I had never seen it , so the coincidence is kind of freaky.
Anybody else have any? I'm really interested in hearing these types of things.

I once made a CAW stable where the leader forcefully adopted members into it to be his siblings if they lost matches or just wanted to join.
I called it The *Last Name* Dynasty. Dynasty being sort of like Legacy.
Then the Hart Dynasty showed up a few months later. <_< Now they didn't have an adoption gimmick, but I was upset that they stole MY team name.

I'll use this topic to take credit for calling the Miz's MitB cash-in the night he did it. Go back to that Raw topic for proof. It's one of the greatest predictions I've ever made. Usually I'm dead wrong on stuff like that, so I was really proud of that one.

When they first started the "Vince's bastard son" angle, I told a friend of mine that it would be someone stupid like Hornswoggle.

It was the first time I had predicted it, but as soon as the Elimination Chamber match was announced I was convinced that Edge would cash it in on a weakened Cena. Personally, I thought it was a good prediction since there was no precedent to go by, but apparently a lot of people saw it coming. When they first started the "Vince's bastard son" angle, I told a friend of mine that it would be someone stupid like Hornswoggle. THIS is the type of wild prediction I'm talking about.

I've been able to call every Kane return. {Spoiler}It's because his pyro is suddenly back on the ring post I was able to amaze my brother, who was a huge Kane mark, with this ability.

I predicted Barrett would win a WWE title match. While this was technically true, he didnt get the belt.

I predicted that Sheamus was going to work with HHH. Initially I thought they were going to team up to have some kind of team going on. Kind of like Jericho and Cade. With Sheamus going for the second title and HHH for the top title.

Back in 2006 I predicted that Johnny Nitro would be a main eventer by 2010. Whether you consider his ECW title win to be the fulfillment of that prophecy, or him becoming #1 contender for the WWE title at TLC, it would turn out that I was correct.
I also predicted that Michelle McCool would lose a feud to someone eventually. I guess I was right.

Waaaaaay back in 1992, when Cactus Jack randomly attacked Sting, I was 12 years old and, even though I knew it was all a work, I had no idea how things were put together. After a few weeks of seeing Cactus Jack on TV, squashing jobbers and going over lower-card guys like Tom Zenk and Big Josh, I said to my dad, "That would be cool if Cactus Jack was World champion some day. I bet he could beat Sting for the title."
Well, it wasn't Sting, and technically it wasn't Cactus Jack, but just a few short years later, Mick Foley was WWF champion.

Before the Vince/Taker burried alive match happened, but after the feud began I predicted kane would help Vince win, Taker would come back the deadman and wrestle Kane at WM20...It happened...
So My prediction now that Kane has killed Takers powers, is that he comes back the american badass,,,

With SvR 2009, I made Layla the Women's Champ.
I also predicted that when Miz & Morrison broke up Morrison would be the face.

Back when Jeff had his match with Taker in 2003, my thought process was "How cool would it be if Jeff ended up as a main eventer."
Drug problems aside, he did put on some entertaining matches.

After the 1996 Royal Rumble, where I criticized it for being ridiculous with Lawler seemingly on his way to stealing the match by hiding outside of the ring, I said there should be a rule that "whomever touches the floor should be automatically eliminated, whether it was over the top rope, under the bottom rope or through the mat itself." I guess in a roundabout way, that call resulted in the main event of the February IYH (WWF title match in a steel cage between Bret Hart & Diesel), where Undertaker came up through the mat and pulled Diesel back down the hole, resulting in Bret Hart winning the match. Hey, I thought that was pretty random.
