When they reveal the anonymous GM, there has to be an explanation as to why he or she was hiding behind a computer for so long. For instance, it wouldn't make since for it to be someone like Stone Cold of the Rock. It has to be someone who is a cowardly character of sorts.

Or alternatively they have to have a good reason for hiding it. Tying into that, I think instead of this awful Punk / Nexus angle Punk should have been revealed as the mystery GM. It makes sense - he's made it plenty clear he favors Michael Cole and dislike John Cena, and he's been reasonable about letting the Nexus get away with things while working to keep them from being total monsters. Plus he could easily have been hiding it for so long due to wanting to keep Teddy Long in the dark as much as anyone since Punk still worked for him, and as a bonus it'd explain why he was the one traded for Edge. But too late for that, I guess.

Would you like to see a completely new person revealed as the GM ? Someone who has never been on WWE TV before. That would be a great way to build a character.

Austin would have got in the ring when Edge called him out. He wouldn't hide before a computer and Michael Cole. How could they explain it as Austin ?

After the friggin love letter to Cole last Raw, I don't see how the hell it ISN'T him... they kinda tipped their hand a lil hard there. Only way they can explain it NOT being him would be that he went rogue on Raw and made things up. No way a GM other then Cole slurps him THAT hardcore.

When we had a Raw GM, wasn't there a weekly thread pushing for the GM idea to be dropped?

I honestly don't think we ever have to know. I'd love to see Vince return, the GM starts whining and Vince picks the laptop up and breaks it over his knee. Then mutters "freaking computer nerds" And it's never mentioned again. This is how it will end, with HHH perhaps instead of VKM.

Punk read an email while Cole was in the ring. Explain that.

Punk read an email while Cole was in the ring. Explain that. Yeah I just don't see how there is any logical way it can be Cole. Although WWE and logic don't go together...ever, I can't see how that could possibly be explained.

Punk read an email while Cole was in the ring. Explain that. Also when they had the GM speak in that Stephen Hawkins voice during the Cutting Edge and Cole was sitting right at the announce table.

Yeah, it made sense at first because Nexus took out the previous GM, but Nexus hasn't really been a threat lately. Not for a while, really. Especially to authority figures.
