Am I wrong in thinking there would be a market for DVD sets that go over an entire storyline such as Austin Vs McMahon (I know they did a tape back in 2000 or so), the Invasion, NWO WWF, Austin Vs Rock, Nation Vs DX, Hardys Vs Dudleys Vs Edge & Christian, etc.
They could probably fill up a good two to three discs with the tv matches, ppv matches, backstage segments, vignettes, etc.

I would love seeing an HBK dvd covering the things before, during, and right after his feud with Chris Jericho.
Ending Ric Flair's career to the Batista mini-feud to the amazing Jericho feud to the...strange JBL feud and the first match with the Undertaker at Wrestlemania. I would buy that in an instant.

Triple H vs Rock would be pretty cool. A lot of PPVs to choose from, going back to their midcarder days.

Edge vs Cena for sure.
If Edge and Taker had a few more matches they could. And of course Daniel Bryan vs Miz..............Just kidding I remember threads saying it was going to be one of the greatest feuds ever or best since Austin-Rock.

If they were all Rival/Story-Themed, I'd seriously buy a crapload of them.
I find those way more fascinating than..a DVD of matches or a PPV.

That completely slipped my mind, I remember back in high school and college that was one of the biggest rivalries going on. HHH and Rock both had some amazing matches just before they both got huge.

Undertaker vs Kane. Just seeing the WWE try to piece together any shred of continuity would be worth it.

I'd love it if they did this. But rather than show whole matches, I'd rather they show highlights from the matches (as it would just go on for too long) and focus on the actual storyline.
There is an awesome fanmade chronically of Jericho's time in WCW on youtube. I think it's in about 20 parts or something. I'd love to see WWE do something like that.
WWE condensed feuds or something.

This is a great idea. It would be great if say, the first (and maybe the second) disk would be dedicated to the feud and the second (or third) disk dedicated to the matches. For example, the HBK vs Flair/Batista/Jericho/JBL/Undertaker saga would have a match listing like this:
HBK vs Ric Flair (Wrestlemania XXIV) HBK vs Batista(Backlash) HBK vs Jericho(The Bash) HBK vs Jericho (No Mercy) HBK vs JBL(No Way Out) HBK vs Undertaker(Wrestlemania XXV)
and the documentary would include parts of the feuds like Flair's "Old Yeller" promo, Jericho turning heel, Jericho winning the WHC, HBK turning on JBL at the rumble, and all of HBK's epic promos leading up to WM25
I would buy that

Austin vs. Rock is having a set come out this year, so depending on the success of that I'd say that we might get more feud-based releases.
