I want to discuss it!
it was awesome wasn't it? First smackdown that's been on a par with raw in a long time I say, I hope they can keep this up!
I suppose we'll have to wait til tomorrow for the Kofi is IC champ/Dolph is number 1 contender appreciation threads.
Wade is on SD now, thoughts?

I dunno, I thought Big Show no-selling Beautiful Disaster, Zig Zag and Future Shock, all within 20 seconds, was lame as f***.
Also Edge vs Kane had to be the most boring Last man standing match I ever saw.
Oh well, at least Del Rio got a win over Mysterio.. First time since his debut? Ziggler winning was good too.

ah that's just how The Big Show gets booked, Kofi/Ziggler was the best match IMO!

I liked how they booked Show, he actually was booked to be a monster like he should be and I thought the fatal 4 way match as a whole was good. Edge and Kane was ok I guess. The IC Title and the 2 out of 3 falls match were great. So yeah I also agree it was an awesome SmackDown, It felt like anything could happen which I dont find happens with SD very often.

I liked the end of the 4 way where Dolph convinced Cody to help him take out Show, then as soon as Cody turned around, he hit the ZigZag to win.
Plus, I liked the conchairto to Kane's leg in the LMS.

Well, at least it won't take the award for most painful. Taker/Show at Cyber Sunday still holds that. Sadly it's back to a 3 minute diva match. But then, dog forbid Mrs Taker should work more than 3 minutes solo

The end to the four way was great, though Big Show looked way too strong. It made all three guys and Barrett all look like losers; not saying "buried forever" or anything, but it could have been handled better. Guessing it would have been if not for the fact he was the only face so they couldn't have him out of the picture much.
Also, gotta love how when losing the blow-off match Rey Mysterio still somehow managed to win the feud.

I don't get the complaining to be honest..personally I thought it was the best Smackdown! in a long..long..long time. Hopefully this quality of work leads up to WrestleMania.

but what of Wad Barrett being on smackdown? good? bad? Everyone around here has been complaining that either A.) Wade will have nothing to do post-Nexus. B.) Smackdown needs new peeps. Bam. There ya go. I think it's a good thing. The other Nexus guys can't carry themselves, Punk is helping in that, and at the same time the "Nexus" stigma is adding to Punk's notoriety, in particular whilst hypothetically feuding with Cena. Barrett's ready to be on his own. He has been for a while. Let him grow on Smackdown!

Meh...this could have been good but I don't think it was well handled. I think Drew or Cody would have been better put in with Show, there's background there for something. Wade's interference made no real sense in the match. Taking the title off Ziggler and then putting him straight in as number one contender is rather annoying, particularly as it makes Kofi's title win a bit like "oh well, we've got better things for Ziggles so we need someone for him to palm it off too" rather than something actually deserved. Having someone lose two matches in a row and then become the number 1 contender seems to make absolutely no sense either. And Rey/ADR and Edge/Kane seem to be having matches for the sake of having matches now, rather than for any good reason. And would it kill them to put some promos on this show rather than one of those stupid from the vaults things? (which are great for reminding me how awesome JR is, but seem like a pointless waste of tv time when guys could really use the time to get over)

It was a great show, like a mini PPV. I thought the fatal 4 way was incredible, and the stand out match. I loved the Big Show in that match with him fending off all comers and pulling off some great moves. And him kicking out of finisher after finisher did not damage the other guys in my opinion it just emphasized what a beast Big show is. That is exactly how big show should be booked.
